So many things to be thankful for..

I have definitely been slacking with updating my blog so I thought I better get back to it. Happy Thanksgiving, just a little late. I am getting uncomfortable and having a hard time sleeping so I am still up tonight past midnight when normally I am in bed by 10:00. I went in and tried to go to sleep but it just wasn't working, and I didn't want to wake Timmy up since he is working in the morning.

Our Thanksgiving was really good.. We went to Timmy's side of the family for lunch and then back home to my family for dinner and then our family tradition of going to the movies. We saw Four Christmases it was pretty good, besides the fact that my back was killing me and I was super hot, that will probably be my last movie for awhile.

There are just so many things for me to be thankful for. I am thankful for my wonderful husband, my family, my friends, God, my healthy pregnancy and my little baby boy, my freedom, my nice home, my husbands job, so many things to be thankful for!!!!!

Since the last time I updated I had my other baby shower that was in Mt. Sterling given to me by some very special people Kaye and Connie, it was a wonderful shower thank you so much!! I got a lot of wonderful things I can't wait to use and it was so good to see everyone that I don't get to see often!! Brody is so blessed, he has gotten so many wonderful things.

I am now almost 31 weeks (Sunday) and I can't believe it. This has really gone by so fast but I can't wait until Brody is here. I did have a doctors appt. yesterday and everything went good. My doctor did say that my stomach was measuring a lot bigger from the 2 weeks before and that she wanted to do an ultrasound as soon as possible to see if maybe my due date is sooner than we think (I would love that) or if he was just a big baby.. remember Timmy was almost 10 lbs. Soo.. I have an ultrasound next Monday the 8th.. I am really excited because I will get to see Brody again and plus I wouldn't mind if he may arrive sooner than we think! I have been feeling pretty good, just a little uncomfortable at times and back aches, but overall I can't complain too much.

I wanted to post a few pictures from my shower in Mt. Sterling from a couple weeks ago, look how cute my cake was!!! By the way, I have definitely grown since then I will try and post a picture soon of my belly!!

My Doctor's Appointment

I had a check up today and everything went well. I thought I was just going in for a check u and then they surprised me with saying I was doing my one hour glucose test today, and I had no idea. Which I think you are supposed to fast before you do this, so I have heard, did you? Well I definitely didn't fast I had pancakes this morning before I went. So anyways.. I had to down this orange drink ( think real sugary orange pop that tastes flat) within 5 minutes and then wait an hour and they drew my blood. If my numbers are high they will call tomorrow if they don't call they are fine, but first thing I will say if they call and say they are high is I had just eaten pancakes and syrup..haha. So anyways... everything went fine, they can easily find Brody's heartbeat every time, it was 144. My belly is measuring just right and she said everything looked great, so wonderful:) I go back in two weeks, the day before Thanksgiving.

I have a baby shower this weekend in Mt. Sterling and I can't wait!! It will be so fun!! It is Timmy's family and alot of them haven't saw me since I have been really pregnant with a big belly so I would say they will all be suprised. Can't wait to see all the cute stuff I will get for Brody!!

28 weeks and 2 days!

I am 28 weeks and 2 days today!! According to a baby website he is probably about 2 lbs and seven ounces and about 12 inches long. According to Timmy he thinks the baby is probably already 3 lbs, he just keeps wanting me to have this BIG baby. We were guessing what we thought it would weigh and how long he would be and I said about 22 inches long and 7 lbs 12 ounces and Timmy said 23 inches long and 9 lbs 8 ounces, I hope he is way off!! I go tomorrow to the doctor for a check up, I always love getting to hear his little heart beat. He kicks me like crazy, I think he wants out! Wait just a little longer please little Brody. I am starting to get more uncomfortable but only really in the evening/night. I think I maybe have Braxton Hicks contractions at night, and they aren't fun, so I can only imagine what the real thing is going to be like. I think he also goes up in my ribs alot because sometimes I just can't breathe very good. Other than that I do still feel pretty good and can't complain much. Only about 83 days to go!!!!!!!

27 weeks!!!

27 weeks today!!! I am moving right along!! I can't believe I am almost in my 3rd trimester! In a way it seems like the time is flying by, and then in another way I am so antsy it's like I just can't wait!!! Brody has been so active the past few days. He is just turning and rolling and kicking like crazy. He is now kicking so hard that you don't even have to put your hand on my stomach you can just see it, it is so amazing. I have a feeling I am going to have a Big Ole Boy.

Here are 2 pictures of me today at 27 weeks, I sure am growing. But I don't care how big I get as long as Me and Baby Brody are Healthy. I can lose it all later (YES I WILL:)








We have also been doing some more things to his Room. We got his letters hung on the wall, his bat and ball, shelf and two other things. It is looking so cute. I go in there everyday just seeing what else I can do. I just can't wait until he is here!!! We still need to get another small dresser or shelf and I have a rocking chair on the way that I hope matches good.

I am feeling pretty good, I was so wore out yesterday that I stayed in my comfy clothes and laid around for most of the day and it sure was nice!! I have another baby shower on November 15th in Mt. Sterling and I am looking forward to that, I just don't know if I will have room for anymore things.. but I can't wait:) I go back to the doctor on November 12th and here pretty soon I think I will be starting Bi-weekly appointments, it means I'm getting closer!!!!
