The Start of Brody's 1st Halloween

To kick off Brody's 1st Halloween weekend we started out by going to the "Harvest Fall Festival" that is put on by Harvest Christmas Academy ( where my little brother goes to school). It was a lot of fun and I know Brody will love it even more as he gets older. We did a cake walk, and I won a great cake!! The 2 main highlights of tonight for Brody was riding his first horse at 10 months old with the help of daddy :) and getting a sucker for the first time!! Okay so I know a sucker, really? But it is Halloween and I just let him have it for a couple minutes but boy did he loves it!!!

After the Harvest festival we went down to our friends Brittany & Erik's for a little Halloween get together, it was alot of fun. We have a little one so they were everywhere and all just so cute!!!!!! We tried getting a picture of the 4 of them all together in their Halloween Onesies but it just didn't work out to good. Poor Little Miayln is the only little girl with 3 boys!!

Tomorrow we are taking Brody trick or treating, and let me tell you he is going to look sooo cute!!!!!!! I will have plenty of pictures to show!! Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween weekend!!

Mommy's Little Pumpkin

We had a great day today!! I put Brody in his little Halloween attire today which was his pumpkin onesie and Baby's 1st Halloween Bib. I then added his blue jeans and Sperry's and oh my goodness was just he precious or what?? I know I take so many pictures but I want to remember each and every moment of my beautiful baby boy. He is the sweetest little guy ever and has definitely stole his mommas heart from the moment I laid eyes on him. I just love him more and more each and every day.

Today we went to a little children's store and out to Lunch with my friend Brittany and her adorable little girl Mialyn! She and Brody are going to be good little friends! I wasn't able to get a good picture of them but they are both so cute!

Then we just did some things around the house and I cooked fried chicken for the very first time tonight for supper and I must say it was pretty tasty.

Strangest thing happened and I am so thankful that it happened when it did and that I heard it. I had been in and out of the kitchen all evening and hadn't heard anything but I came in at about 9:00 after putting Brody to bed and I heard this hissing sound coming from the stove. I told Timmy to come in and sure enough under a burner there was smoke coming and sparks so he turned off the breaker and I got my dad. Not sure exactly what happened but the wire was damaged and now we are getting a new stove top. I am so glad I heard it and hadn't went on to bed.

Congrats to one of my best friends Brittany!! She found out she is having a sweet baby girl today!! She has a 5 year old little boy, so she is thrilled!! We are going to a Baby Sale tomorrow and we are going to buy all thinks PINK oh and some boy stuff for Brody Luke :)

Look who got into the Halloween Candy!! No, he didn't get to eat any but I can't wait until he can sit and eat it with me :)

Fun fall weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend visiting with family and friends!! My nephews came up to my parents house for the weekend which is a HUGE deal because my sister has never sent them to stay the weekend without her ( they live 2 hours away) and they are getting ready to be 4 and 6 years old. She finally was ready and of course they had a blast they always cry when they have to leave. Brody loves playing with them and it is so cute how he just watches them so much! Brody really loved chasing around their remote control cars!! On Friday night we went out to eat at Bob Evans and Brody had his own order of Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and he loved them, of course. Then we went down to Andrea and Tommy's to watch movies and we took Andrea an apple pie for her bday ( which was on Wednesday) Happy Belated Birthday Andrea!! Brody and Gage love playing together and are just too cute!!! Today we went to church and had a dinner afterwards for Preacher appreciation month and then spent the day outside riding the rangers by the river and playing in the leaves!!!! We had a great weekend!!

Maverick Leighton Joe has arrived!!! I am not sure of the exact time but it was sometime within the last 30 minutes!!
He is 7 lbs & 1 oz and 21 inches long!!
He has a full head of brown hair!
Michelle and Maverick are both doing great!!

Can't wait to see and hold that precious baby boy!!!

Prayers for Michelle!

My friend Michelle is pregnant with her first baby-- a little boy Maverick!! She was sent to the hospital tonight at 9pm to a room and the Dr will be in at 5 am to break her water!! I pray that she has a safe and easy delivery and a healthy baby boy!!!!!!!

Holes in my socks

Brody loves sitting in his highchair and eating his snacks of puffs, mum mums, yogurt melts, and lil crunchies so I decided I wanted to start him out on some other things so last night I gave him some carrots! He loved them and of course he loved feeding himself!

Don't mind me in this picture..not the most flattering picture but I think Brody just looks sooo cute!! We were going out for a walk yesterday because it was so pretty out!

Brody loves his walker. He has one at our house and at my parents house and it is just so cute to watch him go! He puts his little arms out and away he goes. It was so pretty out yesterday so I took him out onto the tennis court with his walker and let him go, he loved it. He had so much room. He loves chasing after balls in his walker....... I forgot to put shoes on him at first, just socks because I didn't know how long he would want to stay in and well he never wanted to get out...

This is what happened... Bless his heart!! I ran in and got his shoes, he definitely needed them!!Brody loves his paw-paw just loves him!!!! Dad came up to the tennis court and Brody ran to him in his walker...

He is pawpaw's boy, that is one thing for sure!!!
