Birthday dinner & Wedding Shower

We had a fun and busy weekend celebrating my sister Leslia's 28th Birthday and a wedding shower for my brother in law Chris and my soon to be sister in Law Alex. It has taken me a few days to re-cooperate from this weekend, I have been so tired. I am used to running alot on the weekends but this weekend really wore me out!

Friday after class we went to Midway with my whole family to meet at Holly Hill Inn to celebrate my sister Leslia's 28th Birthday. It was a really neat and great place to eat if you have never been.

Saturday I attened the funera of Chrisl with some of my friends and then we had lunch and then it was home to get ready to go over to Mt. Sterling. Sunday we went to church with Timmy's Brother and then we had Chris and Alex's Wedding shower, which went good! Then we traveled home!

I had class yesterday and have spent today cleaning and playing with Brody! We are waiting to get our new floor in our laundry room and then this weekend Timmy and his dad are going to put up crown mold and trim and then it will be done and I will post pictures!

I have a giveaway coming up, be looking for it!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

A Day at the park!

I have been meaning to blog every night this week but something always comes up and I just haven't found the time and instead of blogging once Brody goes to sleep like I normally do, I have been falling asleep right with him!!!!

This week has been beautiful and the weather has cooled down and it has been so nice!! As much as I love summer, I am ready for Fall!!

Yesterday Brody and I met my friend Mandy and her two little girls Hadley and Madilyn and we took them to the park to play and have a pic-nic! They had a blast. My friend Mandy's little girl and Hadley are about 2 months apart and she just had Madilyn who is 2 weeks old and such a doll!

We have been staying busy re-doing our laundry room and it has been such a job! When we moved into to my grandmother's house I just left it as it was my laundry room and not many see it.. well the longer we live here the more I realize how much time I spend out there and how many people do see it!!! We thought it would be an easy job, but it has been more than we thought. The painting is all done.. new floor next week and then trim and crown mold once the floor gets installed! I will show a before and after when it is complete!

Brody has been quite the sweetheart, like he always is! One big thing for him this week is that he has learned to use his fork really good and get most the food into his mouth, yay!!! This week he has also really been loving his horsey ( which needs a name).

Me and Brody are getting ready to go out for the Homecoming of Solider Chris Wright, amazing what a hometown can do to show the support and recognition of a hometown Hero. Please continue to have his family in your thoughts & prayers!!

Don't you all just love my new blog look??? Thanks to Leelou Blogs!!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!!!!

A Solider

I found out yesterday that a friend and a classmate of mine (highschool) who was fighting for our country was killed. I hadn't saw or talked to Chris in several years but he was a friend throughout highschool and was in my graduating class. He was such a sweet guy and he was so funny, he always could make you laugh.  It just really hit's home when it is someone you personally knew and someone my age. He was in the Army and had been for several years. It left me at a loss for words.... such a young guy, with his whole life left to live, but he gave it up for US.

Thank you Chris - a soldier that fought to maintain my freedoms and privileges and sacrificed his life to do so! May God comfort your family at this time and surround them with citizens who are eternally grateful for your sacrifice!

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!!!

Family Fun!

This weekend was a wonderful fun family filled weekend!! We celebrated my Dad's Birthday Friday evening, Saturday we spent the day by the pool and then to the LeMaster family reunion and then today we went to Church and to Toro Loco to celebrate Dad's B-day ( we always celebrate birthday's there!!!) and then we have spent this evening resting and relaxing!!!!!  I love having my whole family here, we have so much fun!!!!!!!!!! I have pictures to show!!

I started back to school today.. I am excited to get back into the swing of things and I will only be taking one class this semester and I will go Monday's and Friday's from 12-4. Brody has always been extremely attached to me and especially since I was able to stay home with him for a year before I went to school, and since I nursed but since I have weaned him he has became even more attached. I can' even walk out of the room without him Yelling "Mommy Mommy" and running to find me. I love it, I do. I love that he loves me that much but it just makes it hard when I have to leave him. He loves my mom and loves going to her house but it is still hard. I had to go early this morning for orientation as well and had to wake him up and he DID NOT want me leaving, he cried and cried and it broke my heart but I had to leave. Hopefully it gets easier and he gets back into the routine!!

Be looking for a Review/Giveaway this week from Izola Shower Curtains!!!!!!!

Yes, that is my hubby in the back hiding behind my brother, it would have been a nice family picture!!
