Country Wedding

Saturday September 18th was Timmy's Brothers wedding and it was absolutely perfect! It was held at Two Sister's Pumpkin Patch in Mt. Sterling, Ky. Which if you have children and live close it would be a great place to take them!! It was an evening Country wedding and just adorable! It was country/casual yet Alex (the bride) was fancy with her beautiful dress and veil!! She was such a beautiful bride. Brody did a great job as ring bearer, I was so proud of him. He started walking down the aisle and decided to throw his little bale of hay he was carrying, everyone laughed he picked it back up and walked right down to Daddy and Uncle Chris, of course I am his mama so he was absolutely adorable!!! I am so Happy that Chris found such a wonderful wife.. I am happy/excited to have such a sweet sister in law  ( we are alot alike ) that I get along so well with!!! They flew out this morning to Disney for their Honeymoon!! The wedding was beautiful and we had a wonderful weekend!!!

Happy Birthday Little Brother!

Happy 13th Birthday Titus Trent!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my sweet little brother's 13th birthday, he is a teenager now! I can remember the day he was born and how excited I was to be a big sister. I remember changing diapers, feeding him, being a little mother to him, teaching him, and loving him.  He was always my best friend and I still call him that to this day. He is now taller than me and is more like my "Big Brother" but he will always be my baby!! I am so proud of the young man he is becoming.

Titus, I hope that you have a wonderful day today! Thank you for being the best little brother and Uncle to Brody that I could ever ask for!!!

Cold & Rainy

Brody decided he wanted to get up when his Daddy got up this morning at about 5:15 and he was ready to play, so we spent the morning watching Old School cartoons like The Rugrats ( which was one of my favorites) and playing Hot Rod's, we cooked Pancakes (which Brody loves and when he says Pancake it is the most adorable thing ever) until Brody decided he needed to go back to sleep. We also went to my Dr for a visit because I have been having terrible allergies and finally needed to get something for them, especially for my eyes! It is cold and rainy here and we are sitting on the couch watching "The Jumparounds." Brody loves this show and especially the episode "Loco Legs." He goes around saying "Coco Legs" all the time and dances, it is cute!

My Brother in Law's wedding is on Saturday so we will be busy all weekend... we are going over tonight to take a white tent and then tomorrow we are going over for the rehearsal and dinner and to help decorate. Saturday Morning the guys are going golfing and the girls are going to have girl time and get our hair and stuff done and the wedding is Saturday evening. It is at a pumpkin patch and it will be beautiful! We are all in the wedding including little Brody.. this is his 1st wedding and he is the ring bearer, I am crossing my fingers it isn't too disastrous, haha.

While Mama wasn't looking Brody snuck and got into my snack of Milk & Cookie's.



Ready for Fall!

I am so ready for Fall! I LOVE summer.. I love laying out, swimming, going to the beach, and being outside but this summer has been just so hot and I am ready for some cooler weather ( which we are having a little of). I have started getting my fall decorations out and I keep contemplating putting Brody's summer clothes away and organizing all of his fall, but I am afraid more warm days will sneak in.

I love so many things about fall... the pretty fall decorations, my fall candles, pumpkins, wearing my ugg's, wearing leggings and boots, sweaters, dresses with tights, Brody in longall's, Mt. Sterling Court Day's, My birthday, etc!!

I am really need to update my fall wardrobe this year.... 2 Fall's ago I was pregnant, and last fall I was still a little bigger from having Brody, and now I am ready for some new clothes!

1st Migrane ever...

I had been so excited for a Girl's Day with my Soon to be SIL and her cousin (other bridesmaid) Erin for quite a few weeks now. We were planning on going to Lexington to Saul Good and for Massages at Posh Salon and Spa, and then whatever else we wanted to get into for the day. I very rarely leave Brody at all and if I do it is mainly for class or to run somewhere so I was excited to spend a day doing a little pampering!

Went down Friday and Alex did my hair and we went back and stayed with Timmy's dad and Saturday morning we got up and I was feeling fine and then on the way to meet Alex and Erin I started seeing white spots and getting a bad headache, just thought it was part of the sinus' and allergies I have been having. We went to Saul Good and I wasn't even able to eat and then at the Spa I could barely enjoy my massage I felt so terrible, after that we ended up coming back home because I felt so terrible. Comes to find out I think I had my first ever Migraine and it was TERRIBLE. I hate to complain and I don't much but it was BAD. Didn't even make it to church this morning, I have felt very queasy from it today. I am so sorry to anyone who gets these frequent!!!! We still ended up having a good time just wish I felt better and felt good enough to eat the Chocolate Fondue and my Wedge Salad!!

Me and Brody have been taking it easy on the couch today and he has been playing.. Timmy went over to a family reunion we were supposed to all attend but I just didn't think I could do it.

This week I have class on M and F, my little brother turns 13 WHOA when did that happen, and my Brother in Law  is getting married!!

Our Labor Day Weekend

I realize that I am a little behind since I am just now posting about our Labor Day Weekend! On Friday night we went to Mt. Sterling to the Montgomery County football game against Clark county. It was Brody's 1st football game and he loved it! It started getting a little cool so we left at Half-time. I didn't get any pictures but got this one from Timmy's Aunt.

     On Saturday we stayed home and relaxed ( we hadn't been home on a Saturday in a long time).We played outside and went to a yard sale and then we started working on the house. We have been wanting to re-model alot of things since we moved in but just hadn't had the time to do it, so we decided it was time! We have been working on the laundry room for a few weeks and it is all done except for painting the crown mold white and I love it! I have always ALWAYS wanted white kitchen cabinets so we were going to get new until I suggested we paint them white first and see what they look like.. so we did and they looked awesome ( will show pictures later once it is totally done.) So on Saturday we started working on the kitchen. Sunday we went to church and Timmy's Dad and his wife came over to help on the re-modeling. Timmy and his dad tiled the kitchen floor, got all of the cabinets painted and new hardware on them and it already looks so different!!!!!!!! Now we just had to get new counter tops, back splash and appliances.. eventually:) We are also painting the kitchen from a yellow to an antique red! So we spent our weekend doing re-modeling!!! We did find some time to have some fun cooking out with my family and some of Timmy's family and listening to his little cousin Zach play the guitar!

    I am ready for this weekend!! We are going to Mt. Sterling for my soon to be SIL to do my hair tomorrow evening, may even go dark for the fall! Then on Saturday my soon to be SIL and her cousin Erin are going for a girls day to Lexington with our main point being a Spa Massage at Posh Salon and Spa and I cannot wait!!!!!!!!


Me and Brody have been spending a few days at the pool since the days are almost over!! The water is getting cool and my dad will be closing it in just a few weeks!
