Trick or Treat 2010

Today was Brody's 2nd Trick or Treat, last year being his first. Look how cute he was last year on his 1st Trick or treat..He was just 9 months old!

This morning we went down to my dad's office and dressed up with my sister and passed out candy to the Head Start Children.. they were going safe trick or treating around the community. Brody was all dressed up and ate lots of candy and loved seeing all of the children in their costumes!!!

Trick Or Treat here in the community is Saturday night so we will be missing that but we are going to Lexington for dinner with my family to celebrate my Brother in Law Matt's birthday and Brody is going to dress up and who knows what else we will get into!

Wednesday...

After some bad storms, wind, and a tornado warning all day yesterday we are having a beautiful day today!! Thank goodness! Not to much has been going on this week... I am on day 3 of Jillian's 30 day shred and so far so good. I was pretty sore this morning but made myself do the video and told myself I would work some of the soreness out! I have started this video several times but never stuck with it but I am MAKING myself this time!!!!

Brody is sweet as ever and I feel so blessed that I am able to spend my days with him (minus a few hours on M & F). He is turning into such a "big boy" and not so much a baby anymore, even though he WILL ALWAYS be his Momma's Baby! He is getting so smart.. he talks so much and is learning so many new things! He is such a joy & a blessing to my life.

Tomorrow the head start in our little town is going around to the business's to trick or treat so Brody and I are going to go down to my Dad's office and dress up and pass out candy with my sister. We are missing Trick or Treat here on Saturday because we are going to Lexington for the day to celebrate my Bro-in-Law Matt's Bday.. but don't worry he will be wearing his costume and it will only be appropriate since we are going to be in Lexington ( you will know what I mean when you see his costume.)

Rainy Monday

I'm sitting here with my sweet baby boy on this cold and rainy Monday not wanting to leave for class, but I must! I hate leaving my cuddly little baby... he is in his Christmas footed Cars pajama's that his Daddy picked out for him and he LOVES them. He wants to wear them every night... I love my little man in footed pajama's!!! Oh and he is just so loving to his Momma and is giving me lots of hugs & kisses this morning!!!

We had a great weekend.. on Friday evening we went out to eat at Toro Loco to celebrate my friend Andrea's Birthday, it was fun! Saturday was the first "Pioneer Days" held in our little town of Garrison that was put on by Collins Country Market ( My Aunt & Uncle's store). It was a lot of fun and Brody sure loved it.. The ice Cream truck was there giving out free samples of Ice Cream, Tractor's, craft's, face painting, Pumpkin Contest's, and the World's Biggest and Fastest Shopping Cart (which Brody and I took a ride on, picture on fbook cause I just had my phone.) There was also Clogging... my sister's and I took clogging lessons when we were young and it made me want to take them again and Brody loved it too!! I have a video of him dancing on fbook! Sunday we went to church and then to Toro Loco and then my cousin Kelley and I went to the Kids Sale. It is a huge Consignment sale and they always have a lot of great things!

Not to much is going on this week.... School today, and I think were going down to NKY to my sister's tomorrow and maybe going to the zoo, if it isn't raining!

Friday!

So glad it is Friday! I didn't have class today due to In service days at the campus so I have been hanging out at the house, cleaning, organizing Brody's closet and playing with my sweet boy. He is asleep across my  lap right now and won't let me move. We have had such a beautiful week here in Ky, the weather has been beautiful! Timmy & Brody carved pumpkins on Wednesday, went to a premier jewelry party at my friend Alyssa's last night and we have my friend Michelle's little boy Maverick's 1st Birthday party tomorrow, it is Yo Gabba Gabba themed so Brody will love it!

My dad has also decided to build a cabin on his Hilltop which is absolutely gorgeous especially at this time of year, so we went up and marked the spot off and they started on it Wednesday. Juts went up and looked and they are working on the floor! I meant to take some pictures but forgot my camera. Trying to show progress for my sister's to see!

Pumpkin Patch

Over the weekend we went to Mt. Sterling and stayed with Timmy's dad for Court Days! Court Days is a huge festival in My husband's hometown that we go to every year, lots of things to buy and great food! The weather was beautiful an we had a lot of fun! We also took Brody to the Pumpkin Patch so he could pick out some Pumpkin's. Brody and his Daddy picked out 2 of the BIGGEST pumpkins they could find, one weighing in at 200lbs!!! Brody loved the pumpkin patch and this will be a tradition for us every year!!! I took so many pictures, of course but here are just a few!

My Birthday...

10-13-10... My 23rd Birthday!!
Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday!!!!! I had a wonderful birthday, couldn't have been any better!

Around here we like to have "Birth Weeks" not just "Birthday's." So we started celebrating on Monday... on Monday we went out to eat at Toro Loco to celebrate.

On Tuesday Me, mom, my sister Les, and Brody went Birthday shopping! I was in major need of some jeans, and new fall clothes so I went on a birthday shopping trip and I found some super cute clothes, I am set for fall now!!!! Thank you Mom & Dad!! We had a full day of shopping and then ate dinner at Chili's, we had a great day!!!

Then yesterday on my actual birthday.. we had pizza with my parents and sister for a birthday lunch.. My sisters Les and Lin got me some adorable grey boots with ruffles!!! Then when Timmy got home from work we went and ate at Melini's and made a trip to walmart for diapers and wipes..and then once we got home we had cake and ice cream!!

I definitely had a wonderful birthday, I am so very blessed with such an amazing family and friends. Thank you !!!!!

She found a dress!

On Saturday bright and early we headed down to Florence to  Matt & Tisha's. I got to see my precious nephews (which I hadn't saw in forever) and met all my sisters so we could head to Cincinnati (Reading to be exact) to go wedding dress shopping with my cousin Lacey! We went to Bridal & Formal and we had so much fun! She wasn't sure exactly what style of dress she wanted to after trying on about 25 dresses (yes) she found THE ONE!!!!! It is beautiful and she is going to make a beautiful bride!! Her wedding is 6-11-11. After dress shopping we went and ate at The cheesecake Factory. My parents and brother in law watched Brody for the day and it was so fun to have a girls day! Thanks Matt, Mom, and Dad!!! Saturday evening we went to my cousin McCall's wedding which was very pretty!!! Brody was quite the dancing machine at the wedding!!  It was a great weekend! Sunday we went to church, to eat, and then I came home and napped with Brody and cleaned. My sister and nephews came up Sunday evening to stay a couple of days! Brody sure has loved that!! He calls them the "Boys." Today my mom is taking me to do a little early birthday shopping, can't wait!!!!

Show us your kitchen!

I decided to participate in Kelly's Korner Show us your Kitchen, just a couple days late I know! We have been working on updating our kitchen the lats few months. We have layed tile, painted the cabinets and put on new hardware. We have taken a break.. but we are eventually getting new counter tops and appliances. I also am going to get new bar stools as well. I do love it though and it looks so much better than it did!!!
