Dali Decals Review & Giveaway!

They were so easy to put on the wall and I have gotten so many compliments already!

Celebrating Lacey's Birthday!

We had a great weekend with wonderful friends! We went out to eat Saturday night with my Best friend's to celebrate my cousin Lacey's 24th Birthday! After what was supposed to be a 15 minute wait for our table that turned into 2 hours we were FINALLY seated. Thank goodness I have a very good little boy and Best friend's who serve as 4 other Mama's to him! We had a great time and then we went back to Lacey's house  while the guys played cards and the girls had "Girl Talk."

I seriously have the best friend's ever! I bring Brody with me EVERYWHERE, I hardly ever leave him. They know if they ask Me and Timmy to go that means Brody too. When we go it is like Brody has 4 different Mama's instead of one, and I hardly even have the chance to hold him. They all help me so much, even the guys too! Everyone loves Brody!!

Proud to be his Mama...

I absolutely love being a mom, I feel like it is what God chose for me to do. When Brody was born it changed my life completely. It is such a wonderful feeling to have someone love me for me and all they want in return is my love. Being a mom isn't always easy and it does get hard but when I look at Brody's sweet little face it makes everything seem so easy. Brody is such a sweet little boy, he really is. He is already so loving and caring at the simple age of 2, he melts my heart over and over again.

I'm proud to be his mama!!!!!

Spring is finally here!

St. Patrick's Day was my wonderful Mother's birthday, so we spent the day celebrating leprechaun style, haha. My sister Tisha and my nephews came in for the weekend and we had a wonderful time. Brody absolutely adores his nephew's and the weather was great so they spent Thursday and Friday playing outside all day! Friday evening my sister Lindsey came in from Lexington and we all went and celebrated Mom's birthday at Dick's Pizza, so good!

We had big plans of playing again on Saturday but Saturday morning around 4:00 Brody woke up with a fever and then vomited 2 time's. He fell back asleep by 5:00 and just ran a low grade fever the rest of the day, so we stayed away from everyone so we wouldn't get anyone sick. Must have just been a little bug! I hate when he is sick though, just break's my heart!!

Today we went to church, Toro Loco to eat, and ran some errand's, and then my sweet friend Tiffany was in from Lexington and she came up for visit, which was so nice because it had been way too long!!!

We went over to my Uncle's Farm store, Big Barn to check out the bunnies and chicks he gets in every year, Brody loves taking trips the the Big Barn!

We had a great weekend, besides Brody getting sick.. we were happy to see some warmer weather!! So glad Spring is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like we have all been waiting forever on spring weather!!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Momma!!!!!!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day! We spent the day outside with my mom, sister, and nephew's celebrating her birthday all while wearing our St. Patrick's Day gear! Don't worry pictures to come! We even got sun burnt!! It was such a beautiful day!

Potty Training

Two dreaded words-- Potty Training!!!!!

I first bought Brody a potty when he turned 18 months old, that was when he seemed to be interested in the big potty, and letting me know he had went pee pee. He hated it, absolutely screamed and wanted nothing to do with it. Except to sit on it backwards, and play with it as if it were a toy.

Fast forward a few months and I bought him a different potty, thinking that may help. Nope, sure didn't hated it too! So fast forward to now.... Brody is 26 months old and he is very aware of when he goes to the bathroom. I don't want to rush him into potty training because then I know it can be much harder, but I do want to give it a good try, just in case he may be ready. Only problem is... I have NO IDEA where to being or how to start potty training!! So PLEASE Please give me some tips and tricks! How did you start training with your child, what method worked best, please give me some advice!! 

Fever

Someone just may have a fever.......... BABY FEVER!!!!!!!!

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I always wanted to be a mom. I played with baby dolls from the time I was little until I was about 12 and in 7th grade, yes I really did. I had my real-life looking Lee Middleton baby dolls, my diaper bags, and my real baby stroller that came straight out of the JcPenny catalog, it was a big deal. I took my Momma role playing very seriously. I used to say I wanted 12 kids, but after being pregnant and having one, I think I just want two, but God has a plan for me and I will follow, so we will see.

After being pregnant and having Brody my world changed so much, for the better. There are no words to describe the feelings of your baby kicking, hearing your sweet un-borns heart beat, or hearing their cry for the 1st time. Being a mother is amazing. I have the fever, I want another sweet baby. I want a brother or sister for Brody to grow up with. I grew up with 3 sisters and 1 brother and I wouldn't have wanted it any different. I know God has plan and the timing for me and I will leave that in his hands! I do feel that I was put here to be a mother! I love being a mom, I feel like it is right for me. I do get tired, but never to tired to keep going. I do get aggravated at times, but never enough to get upset. Being a mother is a 24/7 job and no it is not always easy, but it is something I wouldn't change for anything!!!!

Brody is still my baby and always will be, but he needs a little brother or sister :)

Oh and No I am not pregnant..... God has a plan for me and my family and I will just wait and see what that may be :)

St. Simons Island

Who is ready for warm weather? ME ME ME ME!!!!!!!! I am craving the sand, sun, and water so much right now, I am counting down to summer vacation! We go every year with my family and this year we had our trip planned to Englewood, FL for the end of May but it recently changed. Things came up and we are not going to Englewood anymore so we are searching for another place to go. I really want to go to Captiva Island, FL but not all family is willing to fly and the drive is longer than we would like to do. We like to try new places each summer so my sister brought up St. Simons Island, GA. We have never been there but it looks super nice! I was wondering if any of y'all have vacationed there, let me know what you think of it!!!! Or if you have any other beach vacation recommendations send them this way! We like a nice beach, not too crowded, a big house (big family) right on the beach and with a personal pool. We also love eating out at good restaurants so that is a must too! 

These are pictures from our vacation last year. I can't wait to play in the sand and water with Brody this year, he loved it last summer so I just know he will love it even more and have even more fun this summer!!
