Matching

I remember playing with my baby dolls and pretending I was a Momma when I was little (actually until 7th grade) and I always dreamed about the day I would be married and have my own children. One thing that always stood out and that I couldn't wait to do was dress my children alike. I remember seeing Moms do that and seeing all of the cute clothes and I couldn't wait until I could do that with my very own! I am sure the boys won't let me dress them alike for long so while they are little I am making sure I do so. I love to match them and coordinate them. They melt my heart!! It's just the little things in life like matching my boys outfits that make me happy :)

As you can see Brody is such a ham when it comes to taking pictures! He starts out cheesing and then his faces just get more silly!

Dentist

Today Brody had his 6 month check up at Hamburg Pediatric Dentistry, which we love. It is a 2 hour drive for us but is worth it to go somewhere that Brody feels comfortable at and they are just awesome! He had his dental work done about 6 months ago and had several cavities and even a silver cap put on. I am glad to say that today Brody got to put his little blue star on the NO CAVITY WALL! Yay! After the dentist we let Brody picked where he wanted to eat and we met my sister Lindsey. He chose Fazoli's  and then we took a special trip to Target!

He was such a big boy and did a great job!!!

Hudsons' 2 month check up

Hudson turned 9 weeks yesterday and he also had his 2 month well check-up. He is doing great and definitely very healthy (yay). He weighs 14 lb and 1 oz and was 25 inches long. He did pretty good with his shots and just screamed for a minute until I picked him up and he was fine. He did end up waking up with a fever today from the shots but was acting fine and it didn't last long.

Oh my poor baby right after his shots (and yes I did pick him right up but layed him back down to change his diaper and he just wanted to be held!)

Double Stroller

I think I did a post about double stroller's before I had Hudson and I ended up just getting another single chicco travel system. I didn't want to invest in a double stroller and then not use it much so I just went with a single again. Hudson is 2 months old and we go out alot and I have realized it would be alot easier if I had a good double stroller. Usually Timmy or someone else is with me but I do go on my own too and with Timmy doing some traveling for work (again) this summer I know I will definitely need one. Plus Brody may be 3 and likes to walk and be a big boy he still gets tired and wants to ride and I have found myself numerous times holding him on one hip with one arm and pushing Hudson with the other. I have been looking at the ones where Brody can sit or stand since he is bigger and would have that option but then there are a few side by side I like as well.

I don't usually get alot of comments but PLEASE if you read this and have some advice leave a comment! This is a big purchase and I want to make sure it is a good one that I won't regret!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter with my family. We celebrated my oldest sisters birthday Friday night, spent the day outside on Saturday and attended my friends from High School (Ashley & Ryan) wedding Saturday evening and then Sunday went to church, dinner at my parents, and then dinner with Timmy's family. It was such a beautiful weekend to be spending with family celebrating Easter!!

2 Months

Hudson Trent Two Months Old

Hudson Trent is two months old today and it is hard to believe! It seems like time is just flying by, I want my babies to stay little forever! Hudson is absolutely precious and the best baby ever! I have been so lucky to of been blessed with two good babies! He is starting to wake up more and is very alert when he is awake but sleeps alot too. I like to call him my lazy baby. He is so calm and content. He is still pretty much sleeping thru the night with an occasional wake up for the paci or to eat. He is wearing size 2 diapers and 3 months in clothes and I bet he weighs about 13 lbs. He loves to be in his swing, his crib, but most of all someones arm:)

My life Lately

My life lately has been wild, crazy, hectic, exciting, wonderful, amazing, fulfilling, busy, fun, and blessed!!!

Having two children is alot different than just having one but in a good way!! My days seem a little more hectic and crazy and I may not have a minute to sit down or ever get peace and quiet but I wouldn't have it any other way. This is the life I dreamed of, I always dreamed of having my own children and a full, loud house. I imagine that in a few years when Hudson gets a little bigger it will really be a wild house with two boys! We have all adjusted well to having sweet Hudson in our family and we don't remember our lives before him now. I may not always be dressed every day and I may smell like spit up the majority of the time and my yoga pants are my best friend but I wouldn't want it any other way!!!!!!!

I had my 6 week post partum check up last week and this is what I saw next to me. I remember my first visits when I had some minor complications and each visit when I felt that relief when I heard his heartbeat and I felt so blessed as I had my healthy baby boy with me.
