Come on Hudson!!

All of you that have been pregnant know I am sure can relate or know the feeling!! I am 37 weeks and I am READY! I am huge and miserable but I know I am very blessed to be able to have a healthy pregnancy and be able to carry a healthy baby. That doesn't mean though that I don't hurt aches and pains, or that I don't feel miserable. I do. I am ready for my sweet boy to be in my arms! As of last week I was dilated 3 and over 50% effaced, which is great but can also mean nothing although is does get your hopes up that he could come sooner rather than later! I have done everything this weekend from walking Sam's, to eating fresh pineapple, walking on the treadmill, etc and here I sit. I know none of this really works, what works is when the baby wants to come, it's ultimately his decision no matter what I try. Timmy comes home on the weekends and worries the whole week I am going to go into labor and he will have to come from Atlanta and he won't make it. Here goes to another week........
I go back to the DR in the morning for a check-up......... hoping for some more progression. I don't think I can make it another 2 weeks... I have begun praying for patience. I am going to try and be patient for the next two weeks and know that when God's timing is right for Hudson to enter into this world it will happen. I will cherish my time with Brody as my only son for the next two weeks.

Brody has been practicing his Big Brother Skills this week! He has a little baby that he found at my Grandma's and he has it wrapped up in Hudson's blanket. He carries it around and holds it and talks to him, it is absolutely precious. He will take him and put him in Hudson's room in the bed and go back and get him. I really think he is going to be a great big brother!!! Earlier he said " When Hudson gets here he is going to sleep with his Mama. I am going to hold his little hand and when he wakes up I will hold him." Talk about melting this Momma's heart!!!

I am loving that I got to see my precious baby boy today! He decided to finally show his face and he is just precious! I am so ready to meet him, come on out Hudson!!!!!!

I am loving that my house was deep-cleaned today and not by me!!!!! I love a clean house and am pretty anal about it but I have just had 0 energy and I'm way too big to be up dusting and cleaning fans!

I'm loving this sweet precious boy of mine!! I am so lucky!! He is my best little friend!!

I'm loving that this week is 1/2 over and that means Hubby will be home sooner!!!

I'm loving so many things.... my life, my children, my health, my husband, my parents, my siblings, my family, and my friends! I am so blessed!

68 Degrees

I couldn't believe the weather today, what a beautiful but windy Monday! We had really bad storms last night but woke to such warm weather with high winds today. I mean 68 degrees in January? I'm not complaining just seems so strange! We spent our morning out with our rain boots on throwing rocks and playing outside! I also snuck away and got my hair done, it erally needed it especially before Hudson makes his arrival so I wanted to make sure that I got it done before he decides to come!

Timmy brings Brody a little surprise home every weekend when he comes in and this weekend it was a baseball glove and ball and Brody loves it!

Surprise Wedding

My sister Lindsey and Robert got engaged back in October. They had said they didn't want a big wedding and didn't know when it would happen and joked that we wouldn't know either, that it would just happen and they were right. They had planned a family lunch (where our family and Robert's family would meet for lunch to meet each other) and that is what we thought we were doing. Timmy didn't even know if he was going to come home from Atlanta for the weekend, and me being huge and pregnant and making progress didn't think I would be able to go, but we went and I am so glad we did. So anyways... Lindsey had sent us a text saying we were doing family pictures before at this little church to be there at 3 on the dot. So we get to the church and found out we were actually at their wedding!!!!!!! Talk about shocking and surprising all of us (very easily could have put me into labor..ha ha) It was absolutely perfect for the two of them and just what I would have envisioned. My sister looked beautiful and so happy, it was perfect! Congratulations to my sweet sister Lindsey and my new bro in law Robert!!!!!

36 Weeks

36 weeks... have I really already made it this far? It seems like this pregnancy has really flown by! I think having Brody has kept me so busy that I haven't had much time to think about each and every passing day, which is a good thing!

I had my 36 week check up today and a growth ultrasound. Little Hudson has been measuring big pretty much the whole pregnancy and he still is. He was measuring about 37 weeks 4 days and an estimate on his weight today was 6 lb 12 oz. Not to big yet but he sure could be if I go a few more weeks! I was dilated 2 and 50% effaced, which is great but I know could mean something or nothing. He looked great in the ultrasound but the tech thought it looked like he may of had mucus in his stomach. My Dr came in and looked and said she wasn't sure but didn't think she say anything to be concerned about but said they will do another ultrasound next week at my appt and make sure.

I can't believe that little Hudson will be here in about 3 weeks or less!!!!! I can't wait! I need to get myself in gear and get the last minute things done. I need my house deep cleaned, wash some more of Hudson's clothes, and get a few little projects done before he comes!! I will try and post a picture if his nursery soon!!

What a wonderful 4 years....

Four years ago.......... was one of the best days of my life! 1-19-08 I married my very best friend. It seems hard to believe that it has already been 4 years since I walked down that aisle and said "I do." The past four years we have been thru so much together and while being married to Timmy has been wonderful we have had our up's and our downs, our trying times. Things have not always been perfect but we Let go and Let God and we have always gotten thru whatever has been thrown our way the past four years. I am so thankful for my husband and for all that he does for our family. We have grown up together it seems ( I was 18 when we met and he was 20) and we have learned and experienced so many things together. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and am so thankful for the 4 years of marriage that I have been blessed with. Although we are unable to be with each other today (working away) this is a special day for us. As a anniversary present I get to go to the DR for my final ultrasound to see our little blessing!!!!!! Just another one of the wonderful blessings that our marriage has brought to us ( Brody too of course).

Life as we know it......

Life as we know it.......

A lot of changes and new things have been going on around our house and with our family, all for the better :) The hubby has been promoted to a manager and has a lot of training he has to do, so he has been and will be traveling between Jacksonville & Atlanta for the next several ( and I mean SEVERAL) weeks. It is hard while he is gone because Brody and I miss him a lot but he is home on the weekends, for about a day. A day is better than none. We live right beside my parents and they are always there to help me if I need it or if something is wrong, or just to keep my mind off of things. Oh and yes I am still pregnant ( getting ready to hit 36 weeks, woo hoo) and the hubby is gone during the week. If/when I go into labor I will call him right away and he can leave and we HOPE he can make it before the birth. We talked to my Dr and if Hudson has not made his arrival on his own by Feb. 9th, she will put me in that night and Timmy can head home and once he is here she will start the induction process. So we are in the middle of one big change (hubby's job) and soon will have another (addition to our family) and I couldn't feel more blessed and excited.

Not sure if I had said much but our good friends Morgan & Ryan were expecting their first child a month before us and she arrived this past week. She is such a beautiful little doll!! Little Miss Abby! I think that Hudson & Brody may fight over her. So happy for our sweet friends as they will be wonderful parents!!!!

We finally got a little bit of snow on Thursday and Brody was so excited! He has been talking about making a snow angel for quite some time now, so I am glad he finally got the chance. He wouldn't even get out of his PJ's. A few snow angels and he was back inside where it was warm!

My lack of posting this week mostly results in the fact that I let Timmy take our laptop with him while he is away and our Internet was not working right... I have an iPad for basic browsing ( not good at posting from it) and then my brother has let me borrow his MacBook Pro and for all of your Apple lovers I hate to say this but I am just not a fan!!!!! I think I will be going out this week and buying myself a new laptop... I like my HP :)

Brody's 3rd Birthday

I woke Brody up on his 3rd birthday singing Happy Birthday and I had a birthday breakfast waiting on him! He had Birthday french toast!! After his birthday breakfast we got ready and headed to Newport to the aquarium, he was so excited! My sister and nephews met us there to celebrate! We went to the aquarium, ate at Brio, got dippin dots, and went to Barnes and Noble. Brody had a blast!! Once we got home my mom had him a little party with presents and cupcakes! We had a wonderful day celebrating our sweet boy's 3rd Birthday!!!!

New Year..

It is hard to believe that 2011 is over and we have begun 2012, I feel like 2011 flew by. We had a wonderful year with ups and downs and with so many wonderful blessings. I have so much to be thankful for! I am thankful that we had a safe, happy, and healthy 2011. Now that 2012 has begun I can't wait to see what all it has in store for us. I know one thing for sure that will be a blessing of 2012 and that is welcoming Baby Hudson into our family and being a family of 4. I don't normally do resolutions but I do know I will strive to be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and christian that I can be.

Brody had been asking to go to the movies so we took him to see Chip wrecked today! I had only taken him one other time to see the Lion King and he only lasted about an hour so I was unsure of how he would do, but he did great!! He sat the whole time and he ate so much popcorn!

33 Weeks

33 Weeks

It is hard to believe that I am already 33 weeks pregnant and will be welcoming a new bundle of joy in just 6 weeks or less!! You don't even know how excited I am!! I am so ready, I am so blessed to be able to be pregnant and carry a healthy baby boy but I have to admit I am done being pregnant (please don't hate me for saying this.) Mostly I am just ready to meet my sweet baby Hudson!!!

I had a DR appt yesterday...... My belly was measuring 36 weeks ( Look how big I am) so she did an Ultrasound. Hudson is already weighs 5 1/2 lbs and is measuring right around 36 weeks and is head down. She didn't offically move my due date or anything but just said she would watch me! He looked great and healthy! I am feeling pretty good just the normal aches and pains of being pregnant and gaining weight. Luckily I didn't get my nasty rash this time around!! I have had a terrible pelvic/hip.groin pain going on for the last 5-6 weeks. Some days are worse than others, there are some days I can hardly even walk because of it but I will manage only a few more weeks!!! I'm predicting he will come at the end of January! I am ready for the challenges, blessings, and happiness that sweet Hudson will bring to me in just a few weeks!!!!!

Christmas 2011

Christmas Eve Eve--On Friday evening we went and had Christmas with Timmy's family at his Dad's. We had a great time and got lots of goodies! Brody was definitely spoiled! His Papaw Roland and Angie got him a Leapster Explorer and a few games. His uncle Chris and Aunt Alex got him a drum set ( I could kill them for this but he LOVES it) a set of "hunting" guns, a remote control truck, and an adorable tool/carpenter set. I didn't take any pictures but of Brody so here are a few.

Christmas Eve- We spent the day over at my parents with all of my family. We started with a big breakfast and then cooking and preparing for our Christmas dinner. We did everything on Christmas Eve this year and it was wonderful. We had an awesome meal and then opened way too many presents!! Brody was so excited about all of his toys! I will have to say I got alot of great things too!! It was a monogrammed Christmas for me!!Just to name a few... I got a monogrammed cell phone case, wristlet, scarf, duffle, tote, robe, slippers, and even a personalized hospital gown!!!!! We walked home from my parents and then started on things for Santa with Brody Luke!

Once we got home Brody and I made chocolate chip cookies for Santa and colored him a letter. Brody was so very excited for Santa to come that he just did not want to go to sleep! It took forever for him to fall asleep but around midnight he finally did! Then Santa came...

Christmas Morning was so magical with Brody this year! He woke up around 7:30 and walked into the living room and the 1st thing he said when he saw everything was, " Oh my goodness I can't believe I really got a train table!!" All day he kept saying that over and over and how much he loved it and he is still saying it! After presents we ate french toast and then went to church. After church we headed back over to Timmy's dad's for Christmas with the rest of his family, we had a great time! We had a Wonderful Christmas, more than I could have asked for. We will always remember the true meaning of Christmas and that is what truly makes Christmas so special. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of this incredible act of love.

Brody's Santa List

Santa will be visiting our house ( we hope) in just 4 days, yay. I can't wait. I am like a kid waiting for Christmas since I have had Brody. I get so excited to make it so magical for him and to make it just perfect. This is the 1st year though that he is really into it and believes and realizes who Santa is and what is going on, so I just can't wait!!! He LOVES Santa, he has saw him and sat on his lap 4 different times, I think. Each time his Wish list is pretty much the same. He asks Santa for the same thing but to Momma and everyone else he asks for other things. Here is the thing he has asked Santa for each and every time......

A Train Table! I sure hope Santa remembers and brings this sweet boy a train table!!!!

There are all kinds of other things he has taken interest in and asked for such as Rescue Hero's, A Bat cave, Hot Rod's, a scooter and some other things but a train table was #1 on his Santa List!

Brody's 1st Christmas Play

Last night was our Christmas program at church and it was Brody's 1st Christmas Play that he was in. He was a donkey ( he wouldn't wear the donkey hat.) He didn't have a speaking part it was just his job to put Baby Jesus in the manger. He was really proud and has been practicing but you never know how he will do, he is at that age. He did pretty well but then found a mic just his size during the program and started saying "Pizza" into the mic. Then he decided he wanted to try and get into the communion so I had to take him out, he cried and cried because he wanted to finish the play but I didn't want him to cause anymore ruckus. Once the play was over he was still crying because "they finished the play without him." He didn't take a nap yesterday so I think that was part of it. He did pretty good for his 1st time and what can you expect out of a almost 3 year old (gasp.)

I haven't really had my camera out this week so here is what we have been doing this week with pictures from my iPhone. We have had a fun week not doing a whole lot. The weather here in KY has been pretty and fairly warm (68 degrees yesterday) but back to being cold today! We have played outside, ran errands, baked Christmas cookies with my sister and cousin, had a baby Dr check up, church, play practice, etc. I can't believe Christmas is next weekend, I can't wait!!

Brody has been into army guys this last week. He carries them around in a little box and loves playing with them and lining them up.

Christmas Parade & Santa

On Saturday we went to our hometown Christmas Parade where Brody got to ride in a firetruck through the parade, throwing out candy. He absolutely loved it and thought it was the most wonderful thing he could have ever done. He got to visit with all of the horses and mules and get up close and personal. Once he got off the firetruck he watched the end of the parade as the hot-rod's went by and they all threw him candy and he loved that!

After the parade we went to my Aunt and Uncle's grocery store to see Santa and Mrs. Clause. Brody loves Santa and this was his first time seeing Mrs. Clause and I think he may have even liked her more. He has already saw Santa 3 times this year ( I've yet to post the pictures) but it is so magical and sweet each time he has seen him!

We had a wonderful weekend! Can't believe Christmas is just around the corner!!!

30 Weeks!

30 Weeks with Roland Baby Boy #2

Size of baby: According to What to expect the baby is about the size of a butternut squash- 3.1lbs and 17in.

Maternity Clothes: Oh yes!

Gender: BOY!

Movement: I feel him all the time!! I love it. I is so amazing and so sweet, I forgot just how wonderful it is to finally be able to feel him kick.

Sleep: I don't sleep, I think I have pregnancy insomnia. I go to bed late, wake up 4-5 times to pee and change sleeping positions and wake up early! It's a good thing I don't require alot of sleep.
What I miss: I miss not being able to sleep on my stomach, and wearing all of my cute clothes!

Cravings: Not alot of cravings really.. Sonic Ice, love it.
Symptoms: Charlie horses, leg aches, and I started having a terrible pain in my pelvic region (TMI) that is no fun!

Wow! I can't believe I am already 30 weeks and that my sweet little guy will be so soon!!! I can't wait and I am so ready!!

Ya-Ya

My mom got Brody Elf on the Shelf for his very 1st Christmas and for the last 2 Christmas' I have jut read the story to him and sat the elf on the mantle. This year I was hoping Brody would understand and be excited about it and he was! We started 3 nights ago by reading the story and we have read it everyday since then. Brody named his elf "Ya-Ya."

Brody loves the story and loves his elf. The first thing he wants to do when he wakes up is find "Ya-Ya." He really takes it serious and really wants to make sure that Santa gets a good report. If he is acting up or anything I can remind him that Ya-Ya is watching and he usually straightens right up.

Now I know you aren't supposed to move your elf or touch him very much because you don't want him to lose his magic but Brody loves him so much that he just really wants to hold him sometimes, so I let him. He took him on a car ride the other day with us and then he also took a nap with him, it is precious.

Our Life Lately.....

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of traveling, family, and wonderful food!! So very blessed this Thanksgiving and always.

I can't believe that tomorrow is December 1st. Christmas will be here before we know it, then my baby turns 3, and then I will be awaiting the arrival of Hudson and being a Mama of two!! WOW!

We have been staying in alot where it is warm and cozy and ready lots of Christmas Books. We have started Elf on a Shelf and Brody loves it!! He woke up this morning to "Ya Ya" in his basketball net, he thought it was just hilarious!

I have been terrible about taking pictures with my actual camera, I always have my phone and it is so easy! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to ...

I got Gel Nails!! I am so behind. I got them with one of my sister's and mom while in Florence for Thanksgiving!

Tis The Season

Tis the season...... I had been wanting to put out my Christmas decorations for quite a few weeks now, I love the comfy and cozy feeling of my house when it is all decorated for Christmas. I made myself wait as long as I could. On Saturday Timmy was hunting and Brody and I were just hanging around the house so we started decorating. I still am not completely done but most of the way. I am still excited this week for Thanksgiving and being with family. I definitely remember what I am so thankful for and I count my blessings each and every day.

Baby Carrier Advice needed!

I am desperately needing some baby carrier advice! I used the baby Bjorn with Brody and I loved it but am looking for something different this time around. My cousin gave me a moby wrap which I am going to try but I also want a good carrier that is easier to just put on and use especially for those times I'm in a hurry or at least until I get the hang of the moby wrap. What baby carrier/sling do you recommend?

My Tuesday Thoughts....

-- The Hubby had to go on a little business trip so Brody and I took him to the airport early this morning. Poor little Brody got sick 2 times on the way, but seems to be better now. He slept the whole way home and has been fine since and has been eating. Thought it was a bug or maybe he just got car sick ( doubt it, he never does)?

--Not a good feeling when your husband texts you and tell you that his flight is delayed because they can't find anyone to fly the plane, then proceeds to tell me once they do that the pilot looks about the age of my younger brother (14) plus the plan is overloaded and overweight, he wanted to bail right then and there. He made it safely to point B, and is waiting on his next flight.

-- I am really wanting to put up my Christmas decorations!! I am making myself wait though until Thanksgiving Day and then I am blaring the Christmas Music and going to get my decorating on!

-- I am so ready for Hudson Trent to get here!!! It will be here before I know it and my life will once again change completely but I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!

-- I have been craving ICE like crazy, as a matter of fact I am chomping on some now and would realy love a big cup of sonic ice right now. My DR. called on Friday and my Glucose was good but my hemoglobin was low (iron) that tells me why I've been craving Ice.

I think I forgot to post but my sweet sister Lindsey got engaged 2 weeks ago when she and Robert went on a trip to Cali!! I am so excited and happy for them! He helped a jeweler out of Lexington make her ring and it is a natural Sapphire and it is just gorgeous! He even made the cute box it was in!

My husband has a problem... he takes a bottle of water to bed almost every night and never drinks it all or throws it away.. I let it go to see how long it would take for him to throw one away. He never did.. I did.

My sweet sister's, Best Friend/Cousin Lacey and best friend cousin Grace threw me a Baby Sprinkling on Saturday and it was so much fun! I didn't want to have or expect to have a big shower since this is my 2nd child and 2nd boy but they went above and beyond to make sure Baby Boy #2 was just as special even if he is #2, and don't you worry he definitly is in my eyes! It was at my cousin Lacey's house and they had invited my closest family and very best friends. I got alot of wonderful things that I can't wait for this sweet baby boy to be able to wear and use! I am so thankful for my amazing sister's and Best friend!!!!!

Oh and can you guess baby #2's name? His name is Hudson Trent!!!! It took us awhile to agree and come up with a name, but this one is perfect! Hudson was Timmy's mother's maiden name ( she passed away of breast cancer) so this is very special and Trent is after my dad!

I am getting so very excitied and anxious about my baby boy and having 2 sweet boy's, I just can't wait! I am so thankful!!

--Over the weekend we went to Buy Buy Baby and test drove several strollers, including all 3 doubles that I liked. I decided againist a double and went with another Chicco Travel System. I'm really happy with our decision!

-- I am 25 weeks pregnant today, wow!

-- I had a lady come and paint in Brody and Baby #2's room and it looks so good! I will take pictures and post! The nursery is almost complete, just need to add a few more touches.

-- Brody is so cute and he says the funniest things. Last night while laying in bed and watching my belly as the baby was kicking and moving all over the place, Brody started saying he had a baby in his belly and it was kicking too.

-- I can't believe it is already November!!! Thanksgiving and then Christmas... it will be here so soon!!

-- Not much to say today just a litte random and boring!

Every Wednesday at 11:30 I take Brody to Toddler Time at the Library, he loves it and has made alot of new friends! This past Wednesday was Halloween Toddler Time! All of the little ones in their costumes were so cute! Brody went as a football player, of course!

On Thursday our local head-start was going trick or treating around to the local businesses so I dressed Brody up, this time he wanted to be Spider man and we went to my dad's office and he helped Aunt Les pass out candy to the kid's. It had started raining so to may it easier they just got on the school bus and passed out the treat bag's. This was Brody's 1st time to be on a school bus and he thought it was so fun!

I am now 24 Weeks! Wow! Where has the time gone? I had a Dr's appointment on Wednesday and had an ultrasound. Baby Roland # 2 looked perfect and is already weighing 1 lb 11 oz. He was big and healthy, what a blessing!!!

I am looking big and healthy too:) If you don't remember I gained 65 lbs with Brody, it's genetic. I would say it will happen again. I would gain 100 lbs if it meant a healthy baby boy. I can always lose it after. I think with breastfeeding, a 3 year old, and a newborn I may not have any trouble! haha

Advice on a stroller!

I have been looking at new baby gear and I just don't know what I want this time around! I still am un-decided about a double stroller. Part of me wants one so I have it just in case and then the other part of me doesn't know if I would ever use it? I used the Chicco Travel System with Brody, plus we have a jeep jogger stroller, and a graco umbrella stroller! I love a variety of stroller's. I would like to sell myold Chicco Travel System but would keep the other two. Now the question... Do I get a new infant car seat and double stroller or do I just get a new single travel system? I am not wanting to get something super exspensive just in case I would't get much use out of it!

Thank you for all of your thoughts & prayers today for sweet Brody! He did a great job and I am glad it is over with!! His appointment was at 9:00 and it started by me giving him his "spider man juice." Instead of letting him drink it because it is so bitter we used a syringe. We then went back out into the waiting room to sit for about an hour to let it take effect. After about 15 minutes, Brody started getting all loopy, couldn't stand up straight, and was talking so silly. Next thing I knew he was fast asleep.... see picture below, don't mind the big belly he is laying against.

During the time we sat out and waited while he was asleep he would wake out of his dead sleep and was so mad and angry and would start hitting and then go right back into a deep sleep. Dr. Dillow came out and got him and said from the time he took him back that he did a great job and slept the whole time. I went back to help wake him up. He ended up having his front 4 teeth filled and a pulpectomy and a cap on a back tooth. He slept the entire way home. Once we got home he was still a bit groggy but wanted to play and we had some visitors that came to check on him. About 5:00 he started running a fever and got really sleepy again and got sick. He fell asleep and slept the rest of the evening. He has now woken up, ate alot, and is playing hot rod's, so he is feeling much better!!!

Look at those pretty little teeth!!! I meant to take a before picture but totally forgot. They look wonderful!! Dr. Dillow did a great job!!

Just wanted to say if you are in the area and looking for a great pediatric dentist I definitely Hamburg Pediatric Dentistry! We have saw Dr. Day and Dr. Dillow and they ewre both great.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 Brody will finally be getting his dental work done at Hamburg Pediatric Dentistry. Brody has had some problems with his teeth and has several cavities that need taken care of and the best way to do that is for him to be put to sleep. I of course hate it that he has to be put to sleep but I know that this is something that he needs to have done and his little teeth won't hurt. I just pray that everything goes as planned and very smooth and that no problems occur and that my sweet baby boy does okay. I'll just say a little prayer......

Brody loves football! He usually is wearing some sort of football attire everyday and If he isn't, it is only because I have had to MAKE him wear something else!

We decided to take him to his 1st big football game last night! We took him to one when he was younger but now he is really into it. We went to a Lewis County High School ( where I went) game and he loved it!!

This week has got me thinking that we may definitely have a very very cold winter if our Fall is already this cold! It has been rainy and in the 40's all week! I do love the changing of the seasons, especially right now the trees are just beautiful!

Yesterday I was 23 weeks pregnant, yay! Moving right along! I had been doing the pregnancy post every week, but not much has been changing so I think I will start doing it every few weeks! I go to the DR next week so I will post then! Everything is going great!

This week we have spent alot of time inside playing, working puzzles, coloring, reading, and painting! I love my days that I am able to spend with Brody and I am so thankful. I can't wait to have two boys to spend my days with.

Didn't really have my camera out any this week but I caught everything on my phone of course.. so here are pictures from my phone.

Brody's favorite toy's are his hot rod's. We have hundreds of them really. He takes some everywhere we go. He has a thing with lining them up, he does it multiple times a day.

On Tuesday evening we went to Morehead to watch the Ky Big Blue All Star game against KCU. Brody loved it! It was a great game!

He just looked so precious and peaceful sleeping!

See what I mean? Lots of cars (not even half of them) and he loves sorting them and lining them up!

So excited about my scarves I got in yesterday from Marley Lilly! Love love love them! Can't wait to wear them!

Nursery Advice!

I am sure several of you who have been following for awhile remember Brody's sports nursery? Well we decided to do this little guys nursery the exact same way. I had all of the bedding/accessories and it was like new (Brody never used it)and my husband is obsessed with sports and insisted on another sports room and this was the cutest I could find even after looking for something new! I did get a new crib and dresser/changing table because I had sold Brody's and I found a great find on craigslist! I have a big chair and Ottoman in the light blue color that will be coming and I want to get a bookshelf. I also still need to add some things to the walls and his name! Where I need your help is... I want to get a big rug to go in here and I have no idea what color to go with? What would you all suggest? I would love to mix in stripes or plaid but would that be to much? Also, I've thought either getting a Vinyl Decal of his name and or a quote or I have someone that could paint it? I need some help!! I am just not having a good vision this time around and although it is very similar I want it to be a bit different from Brody's nursery.

Size of baby: According to baby center the baby is around 1 lb and the size of a spaghetti squash. I go for an ultrasound in 2 weeks so we will see just how big he is really is!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +15

Maternity Clothes: Oh Yes. Just went and got all kinds of new maternity clothes for my Birthday!

Gender: BOY!

Movement: I feel him all the time!! I love it. I is so amazing and so sweet, I forgot just how wonderful it is to finally be able to feel him kick.

Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good this week!

What I miss: I miss not being able to sleep on my stomach and as vain as it sounds I miss my smaller body!

Cravings: Egg Sandwich's, weird.

Symptoms: Acid Reflux, Heartburn, Charlie Horses, and Tail Bone pain (at times).

24 Years old

This is where the 24 years comes in... Today is my Birthday!! Happy 24th Birthday to me! I feel so blessed in my life right now and I am excited to be celebrating another blessed birthday and many more. Thank you to everyone who has already called, texted, and facebooked me!! I'm so lucky to have such great friends and family!

We have been celebrating my birthday all week. On Tuesday my Brother in Law Matt, sister Tisha, and nephews Zach and Landon came to spend the day with my for my birthday. We went to the apple orchard, the cabin, and had a birthday lunch! Yesterday my mom, Brody and I went to the Jerffersonville Outlets where I got new maternity clothes!! Today was rainy and cold so Brody and I spent the day playing. We had a birthday lunch with my parent's, Les, & Willie! I got a beautiful surprise delivered from Timmy & Brody. This evening we went out to Dick's Pizza for my birthday dinner. I got spoiled this birthday! I had a wonderful birthday! I think everyone for all of the birthday wishes, it was a great day!

Timmy & Brody got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a fall wreath, tart's, a fall sign, and we can't forget my new coach purse!

20 weeks with Roland Baby # 2

Size of baby: Last week little baby boy was 11 ounces!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 15 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Yes Yes Yes! Just got some new clothes in that I ordered from Old Navy and I love them all!

Gender: It's a Boy!!
Movement:Yes! I love it! I love being able to feel my sweet baby boy! Lats night while laying in bed Timmy was able to to feel him kick for the first time too! So sweet!
Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good this week!

What I miss: I miss not being able to sleep on my stomach!!!!

Cravings: Haven't really had any cravings this week..
Symptoms: I still have a few nausea spells every now if I haven't eaten and then and Charlie Horses also if I have been standing/walking alot my tail bone starts to hurt! Nothing I can't handle though:)

These pictures aren't the best quality but by the time Timmy gets home I always forget to have him take a picture for me. I need to get better about that! Oh and yes I dyed my hair dark.. you can't tell alot by the pictures but I do it about one a year in the fall, I'm already ready for more blonde!

We have a name!!!! We have finally decided on a name for our sweet baby boy!!! I will post it later!!

Potty Training & A trip to the dentist

You may have read on here before about a few trips Brody has had to the dentist and some of the problems he is having with his little teeth aka cavities. We made another trip to the Dentist today, to see if they could use Laughing Gas and be able to fill a few cavities. I didn't really think that Brody would let them but I wanted to try one last time (rather than putting him to sleep.) He really was trying to be a big boy but he just did not want it done. I am looking for a good pediatric dentist in the Lexington area if any of you have any recommendations, please let me know!

I am so proud of Brody!!! We started potty training 2 weeks ago today and it has went so well. I am so glad that I waited until he was a bit older because honestly it has been so easy. He was definitely ready and it helped so much! Over the last 2 weeks of training he has woke up dry every morning, and probably has only had a total of 5 accidents the whole time, I would say he is Trained. He still is so proud each time he uses the potty and he continues to tell me that he is a BIG BOY! I am so proud of my Big Boy!

What do I need- Baby Edition

When I was pregnant with Brody, I knew that I needed everything. I was starting fresh and had no clue about all of the bets baby gear and equipment and what I would use the most, I just knew I needed it all. I kept alot of big items from Brody.. High chair, pack n play, stroller and infant seat, jumper and bumbo seat. It just seems like this time with the 2nd baby I do not even know where to begin with what I actually need? That sounds silly, doesn't it? I mean I've done this before I should know, right? WRONG! I have all of these thoughts running through my head.

Do I really need a fancy double stroller? Will I even use it? Or should I just have my single stroller and let Brody ride and use a carrier for the baby? If you are a mother of two, give me your opinion.

Should I get a swing this time? I used a hand me down with Brody (I got rid of it) and he really didn't use it that much. Should I get a new one and give it a try for this baby?

I used the Chicco Key fit Infant Seat with Brody which I kept. I am wanting to get a new one to have one for both vehicles. I loved the Chicco but I have heard alot of good things about the Graco Snugride Infant Seat as well. Give me your opinion?

I used the Bjorn baby carrier with Brody ( I liked it but not sure if I kept it) but I have heard alot about the Moby wrap. Should I try it or is there a better one you would recommend?

Oh my goodness.. what else am I missing??? I used the pack n play by my bed with Brody when he was small but we have moved our bedroom and I am not sure if it will fit so I am thinking of getting a bassinet. Do you have a favorite you would recommend?

I do know some things I want and use for sure but there are just so many options and they come out with so many new and different things and I love baby gear that I just don't even know where to begin. I would love to hear about your favorite's and opinions!!

19 weeks

19 weeks with Roland Baby Boy #2

I do have a picture but my mom took them on her camera so I will upload and add to this post tomorrow!

Size of baby: I went to the DR yesterday and had an ultrasound and he weighed 11 ounces and was measuring a week and a half ahead!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Oh the weight gain, it's genetic. Happened to my grandma, my mom, and my sister, and my with Brody.. we gain alot. I don't care as long as my baby is healthy.. + 15 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I still have my one pair of jeans that fit ( but they are too short, so I make them Capri's) but since it is getting cooler I know they won't work anymore. I have gotten some new maternity clothes, but really need new jeans and I can't find any I really like. If you have any opinions let me know!!!

Gender: I have known it is a boy for a few weeks from where I went to Lexington Fetal Photography for an early gender Ultrasound. I went yesterday to my Dr for my 20 week gender ultrasound and he is definitely still A BOY!

Movement: I feel flutters. I can't wait to start feeling him all the time. He was moving around like crazy during the ultrasound yesterday.

Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good this week!

What I miss: I miss not being able to sleep on my stomach!!!!

Cravings: This week I have wanted Italian and craving crackers and cheese!

Symptoms: I still have a few nausea spells every now if I haven't eaten and then and Charlie Horses!

I had a Dr's Appt yesterday which was my 20 week check up (Yes I am only 19 weeks) and for my ultrasound. Baby Boy Roland looked perfect and was so healthy, and I feel so blessed for that. He is definitely growing and was 11 ounces and was measuring about a week and a half ahead.

We are still trying to decide on a name for this sweet boy and we are having a really hard time, we have a few in mind but just can't agree and decide on a name. We do know the middle name will be Trent, after my dad. Ideas are welcome :)

Our Weekend

We have had a great weekend spending time with family and friends and enjoying this cool fall weather!

Brody absolutely LOVES getting his hair cut, loves it. Every time Timmy gets a hair cut Brody insists that he gets one too. On Friday evening we went for Timmy to get a hair cut and we were going to wait a little longer for Brody but he said, "Dad my hair looks ugly, I really need a hair cut." It was too funny and too cute so he got a hair cut too. He sits perfectly still and once they are done and turn him to the mirror he smiles and grins and is so proud!!!

After hair cuts on Friday we went to Buffalo Wild Wing's to meet up for dinner with our friends Andrea, Tommy and Gage!

Hunting season is in so that means on the weekends Timmy is usually hunting, so that means girl time! Yesterday he went hunting with Ryan and Travis so the wives's went shopping of course! Me, Lacey, Morgan and Brody went shopping and had a great day! Brody loved getting to see the Chik-Fil-A Cow! After shopping we went out and met the guys at Ryan and Morgan's and we cooked supper and played some games! I have to brga on Brody just a bit... he is doing a great job potty training and has had no accidents! He tells me when he needs to go and even being gone all day yesterday, he did awesome!!!!

Today we went to church and then went to Sakura to celebrate Titus' Birthday (The fam all celebrated yesterday in Lexington, but we didn't go..) and now we resting and having a lazy afternoon!!

Seems like just yesterday he was so little and small ad turning 8 years old. He may be 14 and he towers over me now but he will always be my baby brother!!!! Happy 14th Birthday Titus Trent!!! You are one special brother and a very special Uncle to a certain little boy!!!!!

18 Weeks with Roland Baby Boy #2

I didn't take a picture today since have felt awful and look awful!! I will try and take one tomorrow and add!

Size of baby: According to Baby Center the baby is about the size of a yellow bell pepper and about 7 ounces.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9 lbs.. I am sure I have gained more, have a Dr's appt next Wednesday

Maternity Clothes: I still have my one pair of jeans that fit ( but they are too short, so I make them Capri's) but since it is getting cooler I know they won't work anymore. Potty Training

I haven't pushed Potty Training really hard with Brody because he has has not seemed interested when I did try so I didn't want to push it. Everyone told me that when he was ready I would know. I really would like him to be trained before the new baby comes but yet I don't want him to regress once the baby is here. He is big enough and tells me when he has went in his diaper, so I thought I would give it another go, starting yesterday evening! He did awesome! He went in and the potty and had no accidents. He was so very proud of himself and as a reward we took a trip to the dollar store ( whatever works)! He has also done great today, and had 0 accidents. That was even with us leaving the house to go to Library Toddler Time and to lunch at Subway ( his pick, his favorite). I hope that it continues to go well and I am not putting diapers back on him, unless it just fails and maybe he just isn't ready. So far he is doing great!! It is a bitter sweet moment for me, although I really want him out of diapers, its just anohter step that my baby is growing up! Brody is 2 years and 9 months!

Just wanted to write about this so I would have it for my personal memories......

17 Weeks

Thank you for all of the Congratulations on having a baby boy!!! We are so excited and can't wait to add another little baby boy to our family. I still can't believe I will be a Momma to Two little boys!!!!!

My husband and I are very impatient and we just couldn't wait any longer to find out what we were having. So on Labor Day we were in Lexington and spur of the moment I decided to call Lexington Fetal Photography and see if she could fit us in, and lucky for us she could!! As soon as she started the ultrasound she started laughing and said I know exactly what it is, "It's a boy!!" We are so excited!! I go to my actual Dr's appt for my ultrasound on the 21st, but there is no mistaken that this baby is a boy!

I am very excited because one of my best friends is a few weeks ahead of me and found out yesterday she is having a baby girl, and then my other best friend just found out she is pregnant and due in April, so exciting!!

I am terrible at taking weekly pictures, maybe it will be more like every 2 weeks or every month, but I will have them every now and then :)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I dug out my maternity clothes with Brody and Timmy took me shopping for some new ones on Sunday. I still have been wearing my favorite pair of pre-pregnancy jeans and Ive been hanging out in yoga pants alot, but I pretty much need maternity clothes now!

Gender: It's a Boy!!!!

Movement: I have thought I have maybe felt the baby a few times but nothing consistent. I started feeling Brody around 17 weeks so I am hoping to feel this little guy soon, I can't wait!!
Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good this week.

What I miss: I miss not being able to sleep on my stomach!!!!

Cravings: My appetite is back and in full swing! I have been loving candy, sour patch kids, Reese cup pumpkins, and life saver's!

Symptoms: I still have a few nausea spells every now and then and Charlie Horses!

16 Weeks with Roland Baby #2

Size of baby: According to What to expect the baby is about the size of an avocado
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Not yet! I am wearing one pair of jeans that still fit all the time and wearing dresses! I don't want to buy fall maternity clothes until it feels like fall outside!! I will be needing to get some soon though! I have some things I kept from when pregnant with Brody too.

Gender: We find out in 3 weeks!!!!!!!

I have had the itchiest eyes, nose, and terrible headaches!!!

I love Saturday's that are spent at home with no plans, and no certain time that we have to be anywhere, I love it. Today we slept in as a family, laid around the house, cleaned, spent time outside, and spent time at my parent's. We even watched 2 movies in the middle of the day, and Timmy is actually on his 3rd with Brody asleep on him and I am obviously not very interested in his movie choice, so blogging it is.

-- Sad day for me yesterday.. I dropped my Iphone into the pool, sunk all the way to the deep end. I had just gotten it for Mother's day, fail on my part.

--I forgot to do my weekly pregnancy update, oops. I did have a Dr appt last Wednesday and the baby looked great, yay! I go back in 4 weeks for my big Ultrasound and I can't wait! I just want know if I will have another precious baby boy or a sweet little girl!

-- Timmy has been working on a big project for me and it is finished, on his part. Now I just need to get things organized and put away, he built me a closet!! Once I get it cleaned up I will post a picture!

Not much else to update on... Life is good! Hope everyone has had a great weekend!!

Where did my little baby go?

Where oh where did my little baby go? Brody is really growing and is turning into such a little boy, instead of a baby, but it is happening way too fast for this Mama!!! Brody is becoming very independent in so many different ways. He especially loves to dress himself and alot of days I just let him do it, it is easier then arguing with him and I just laugh and think its so cute to see what he picks out to wear. It is most usually a shirt and shorts dealing with sports. Note to self: When getting him new clothes for fall make sure to get plenty of cute UK shirts and Sports shirts. So today he wanted to wear his UK basketball shirt which has long sleeves but I let him, he was proud and he did look so handsome! He also got a haircut last night, which always makes him look even older. Which he loves getting haircut's, it is too cute. Last night Timmy asked if he wanted him to hold him and Brody said, "No daddy I will sit by myself." He sat perfectly still and then looked at himself in the morning and said, "I look good." Another moment where he was so proud.

14 weeks

Thank you to everyone for all the Congrats and Well Wishes about expecting Baby #2! We are so very excited and feel extremely blessed and we cannot wait for another little bundle! I am 14 weeks today and I found out when I was about 5 weeks. I actually found out on June 10th, 2011 the night before my Best friend/cousin Lacey got married. I had a few complications early on and that is why I waited awhile before I announced our good news! My due date is February 16th, 2012, maybe he or she will be a Valentine's Baby?

14 Weeks

I have only taken a few pictures on my Iphone, next week I will start and take them with my camera so a picture can go with the weekly post's.

Size of baby: According to What to expect the baby is about the size of a lemon

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm at +6 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet, I have been wearing summer dresses and I can still button most of my shorts and pants. Some things are a bit uncomfortable but still button. I would say in a few more weeks...

Gender: Won't know for a few more weeks.

Movement: I haven't felt anything yet, I am just waiting and I can't wait!

Sleep: I sleep pretty good except for getting up to pee 2 times a night

What I miss: Not much I miss yet since I am still early. I do miss not having these nauseous spells.

Cravings: The things I want to drink are weird... Gatorade, V-8, Grape Juice and I have been wanting more milk. Odd for me since I mostly drank diet coke and water.

Symptoms: Nausea & Headaches but nothing I can't handle!

It seems that maybe I have been in a blogging slump?? Ekkk... I hate to say it but I think I am. Not too much has been going on.... just taking care of my pride and joy, my husband, my house, working in the office today, and were working on our house. We have been re-arranging and painting and putting up new light fixtures and were not close to being finished and my house is a mess!!!! I hope we are able to get most of it finished by the weekend, I hate when my house is messy and un-organized. I need to do a post alone on Brody, he is getting so big and he is so stinking cute and says the cutest, most sweetest things, I'm obsessed, he is my pride and joy! Just to pass some time and to give you something maybe somewhat interesting to read I took this little survey from A country nest. In a small little town in Ky in our 1 story brick home. It is cozy, nice, and I love it. It was my grandmother's house and since we moved in 3 years ago we have been slowly doing updates. We are still slowly updating.

I have a bad habit of crunching whatever I eat, I do chew with my mouth shut but I still crunch and it is loud and drives Timmy crazy. Timmy's bad habit is taking his clothes off and leaving them right where he takes them off, he does the same with his shoes, drives me crazy.

Birthday Weekend

Over the weekend we celebrated Timmy's 26th birthday. He took the day off Friday and we left early and went to my sister Tisha's to spend the night. The rest of the family joined us later in the evening and we headed over into Cinncinatti to eat at Boi Na Braza for Timmy's Birthday dinner. It was delicious and we had a great time! On Saturday we went to Bass Pro Shops, Jungle Jim's, and ate at Buca De Bepo and then headed home! It was a great weekend with my family and I love being able to go stay at my sister Tisha's and BIL Matt's and see my precious nephews! My camera went dead after the first few pictures and I didn't even get a group family picture, but they were all there! Hope Timmy had a wonderful 26th Birthday and Birthday weekend!

Seems like I haven't been blogging much and I feel like I have so much to say but then again I don't. Now does that really make much sense? Not really, but that's how I am sometimes!! Here in a few weeks my blog is going to have a new look and I can't wait, I am ready!!! Just because today I am going to do bullets..because I can.

-- My hair is in desperate need of some love right now... majorly. I have an appointment Thursday morning at 9:00. thanks goodness!!

--Thursday is the Hub's 26th Birthday, did we start dating when he was 20? WOW. Not sure what I am going to do for his actual birthday just yet. I ordered him a few presents and they came early and he found them, of course. We never have surprises.

-- Friday we are going to stay the night with my sister Tisha and BIL Matt in NKY with the family to celebrate Timmy's Birthday. We have reservations Friday night at Boi Na Braza, it is a Brazilian steakhouse.. delicious, amazing. Then Saturday we are going to Bass Pro Shop. This is what Timmy wanted to do for his birthday, his wish is granted.

-- I have been thinking that my sweet precious little Brody is never going to want to potty train, he is just not interested. I have tried several times and he just doesn't want to. The past few weeks he has been obsessed with his speedos (undies) and he always wants to wear them swimming instead of trunks. So the last 2 days he has decided he wants to be a big and wear his undies. We have yet to make it in the potty but the floor numerous times but if he wants to wear them, eventually he will go to the potty, maybe.

-- I love summer, love it. I love the heat and the pool.. but I hateto say it but I think I am ready for some cooler weather, not cold but just a bit cooler. I know once it cooler I will be wishing it were warmer, I'm a woman.

-- Brody is waking from a nap and Timmy will be home from work soon so I better get off of here and do my duties :)

I know there are so many of us that just love ETSY, and we love finding out about new shops and the great item's they have to offer. Today I am featuring an adorable shop called Paige's Pastime. This shop has so many cute personalized items from vinyl wall clings, personalized tumbler's, personalized pail's and so much more! I am doing a review of an item I received and I absolutely love it!! I was sent a Carrier/Tray for whatever I like. I have used it for veggies , fruit, and chips and dip and it is great! Not only is it so cute with the polka dots and my monogram and the adorable leopard ribbon, but it is really handy to have! I was so pleased with this adorable item!

I asked the owner to tell me more about her shop and how she got started and this is what she said.... I guess the jist of it would be that I have always had a "thing" for personalized items, whether it was a name, initial, or 3-letter initial. When I was young, I used to feel so special when I had something with my name or initial on it. Now that our children have left home and completed college (oh, and by the way...they are 23 ,24 and 26!), I wanted to do something I've wanted to for a long long time...start my own business! I've been doing personalized items for a long time, but didn't really put all my efforts into it until my children "left the nest"....I felt like the most important thing I could do for my children while they were home was to BE THERE FOR THEM when they needed me, not have my head buried in an embroidery machine or in a computer designing and creating. Our daughter's room quickly became my "studio"...and I guess, as they say, "the rest is history". I wake up every morning excited to get started on new projects and order and often times, my husband has to MAKE me come to bed at a decent hour! Of course, the holidays and special occasions are killers at times....once people find out what I do, they turn all of their gift buying over to purchasing my items. Someone once told me that I had a "passion for personalization"....and I told them "Yes, I do"...because my husband told me when I first started this business "do what you like and like what you do".....and I absolutely LOVE making things for people that will be come a one of a kind for them!

Saturday we went to Lexington to attend the 5th annual Bluegrass International Cup at Polo in the Park, at the Kentucky Horse park. I had never watched a polo match and it was really neat and a lot of fun!! The decorations were super cut ein Lime green, navy, and white ( a color scheme I now love) and the food was great!!!

My Best Friend's Wedding

On June 11th, 2011 my Best Friend and 1st Cousin Lacey married her high school sweetheart, Travis. I have so many pictures that I could add from the rehearsal and from the wedding day but it would just take too long. I went through and picked out some pictures that I loved and though captured the day. Lacey and Travis have been together for 7 years, and they were engaged for a little over a year. They got married on Lacey's parents farm in an outdoor ceremony and reception. I was her matron of honor and Brody was one of her ring bearers. The weather was perfect and so was the wedding, perfect wedding for a perfect couple!

Our 4th of July Weekend!

I know I am a few days late on posting about our 4th of July weekend, but better late than never, right? On Saturday evening we went down to my cousin Lacey & Travis' (Newlywed's-which I have been working on a wedding post, and just realized I never finished it) for a cookout and to watch the fireworks. The girls sat and chatted while the guys played corn hole, Brody joined in and loved it.

On Sunday we went to church and then over to Timmy's dads for a family cookout and fireworks, which I don't have any pictures from but we had a great time. On Monday we just had a lazy day and caught up on rest and then that evening we went over to my Aunt Jenny & Uncle Dale's for a 4th of July cookout and a going away party for my cousin Kyle and his wife Beth, they both got accepted to the University of Birmingham, AL.

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!!! I have some exciting news coming up in the next few weeks, so be looking for it!!! Hope everyone is having a great week!!!

Vacation 2011 Part 2

We had perfect weather while we were on vacation, it wasn't way too hot and there was always a breeze coming through, it was so relaxing. We would go from the pool to the beach, from the pool to the beach. Brody absolutely loved the beach and the ocean. He was very busy and couldn't stay put for long though so that is why we went from the beach to the pool so many times. Luckily our house was right on the beach with a pool, so that made it super easy. I am wishing we were back at the beach right now!!! Everyday we would get up and head outside, we would come in for lunch (sometimes a nap for Brody) and then head back out until it was time to get ready for dinner! The men of the family cooked dinner 2 nights at the house that week and the rest we went out to eat. We didn't do anything but the beach, pool, and eat, it was fun!! We didn't go shopping or anything! We loved Pawley's Island/Litchfield Beach and we would defiantly go back!! We had a wonderful family vacation!!!

Vacation 2011-Part 1

I know I am very behind on blogging about our vacation but I have been super busy and am finally getting the time!

We started our vacation by driving to Asheville, NC and staying at the Grove Park Inn. It was an awesome place to stay, look it up! We were just there for a night so we really had enough time to eat a good meal. They had an amazing spa that I wish we would have had more time for. Then the next day we went downtown Asheville and ate a a super good restaurant, Salsas. From there we left and we headed towards Charleston/Folly Beach.

Once we left Asheville we drove on towards Charleston ( which we always love and stop there) but we decided to stay at Folly Beach instead. We called and got a room at Tides Folly Beach. It was an Ooceanfront Hotel, super nice and right on the beach. It had a very fun atmosphere and would be a great place to go with friends. We took Brody out on the beach for a little bit and then we went and ate at a Crab Shack. We woke up the next morning and had breakfast pretty much on the beach and then headed on towards, Pawley's Island/Litchfield Beach, SC.

Saturday Morning we let for our beach house at Pawley's Island/Litchfield Beach. Thank goodness Brody is an awesome traveler! He did excellent the whole time!!!

Our house was amazing!! It was definitly my dream home, the decor on the inside was beautiful, just perfect! I want a personal decorator!!This hosue was in Coastal Living 2005. I have pictures of every room but it takes so long on blogger that I am not going to post all of them.

HELP! Having blog problem's!

I have been having blog problems!

Every time I try to comment on someones blog it says I am anonymous and keeps taking me back to the blogger sign in page over and over, it will never work? It has been doing this the last week or so. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Please help :) So if you haven't been getting any comments from me this is why, I have been trying!!

We are back from vacation and we had a fabulous time!!!!!! I have spent this week unpacking and helping my cousin Lacey with wedding things. Her wedding is this Saturday 6-11-11 and I am so excited!!!!!!! I will do a vacation post and a wedding post next week, hopefully. Between helping with wedding things, Timmy working late, Brody not sleeping well ( night terror's) and online classes, I haven't had much time for blogging!!!!! Today is the day... we are leaving for vacation!!! So excited! I may post while I am gone, but probably not, so expect a Vacation update with lots of pictures when I return!! The beach is calling my name!!! Me & Timmy are not very good at keeping surprises from each other, ever. We cave, we always give in and tell the other person, we just can't help it. Well my husband definitely surprised my big time yesterday!!!!! Don't have time to give alot of details but let me just say......I was super surprised and shocked.. and happy oh and excited!!!:) Long story short... I had sent me engagement ring and wedding band off to be re-dipped and sottered together and when he picked it up and brought the ring box home.... it wasn't my set in the box!!!!!

I remember the day this diving board used to be filled up with girls (I have 3 sisters) and now it is all boys, we need a little girl at the end of that line of boys :) It has been too long!

1st Pool day of the season!

What a wonderful day we have had today to start off this beautiful weekend! I know that with all the rain and gloomy weather we have had I was really needing a Pool day! Today we were able to have our 1st pool day of the season! Timmy was playing in a golf scramble so Me and Brody were going to hang out at the pool all day, and we were surprised with a visit from my sister Tisha, Matt, Zach, and Landon! The boys all got to swim and eat popsicles and eat a great lunch prepared by my Momma!

The pool water WAS freezing but that didn't stop us!!!

Don't you just love Brody's swim attire for the day? A swim vest with a swim diaper with his adorable, cute, chubby belly hanging out? I sure do!!!!!!!! He had trunks on but took them off and I haven't got his tube yet so this vest had to do and honestly were at home so what does it matter?:) Honestly it wouldn't matter to me if we weren't at home. Just thought he looked cute!

In exactly 1 week we will be laying on the beach!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

--I am loving that I have 2 good friends that have just recently found out they are Pregnant, yay!! One is pregnant for the 1st time and the other is pregnant with her 2nd!! So excited for the both of them!

-- I am loving that our beach vacation is in the single digits... 8 DAYS!! I am praying for beautiful, warm weather!! I can't wait to just relax and spend time making memories with my family!! I love family vacation!!

-- I am loving that my cousin/Best Friend Lacey's wedding! It will be here so soon!! June 11th to be exact. So excited and happy for her and Travis! Can't wait! She will be a beautiful bride! I am her matron of honor!! My sister's and I will be working hard the work before to make her day perfect!!

-- I am loving my new outdoor flag that I got over the weekend!! You will love it too! Once I get it hung up I will take a picture and show you all!!!! It has been cold and rainy and I am waiting for a pretty day. Yes I know I could hang it in the rain but it is just so cute, so I think it needs to be hung on a pretty day..haha

--I am loving my precious sweet baby boy!!!! Seriously, he melts my heart. He is my best friend.

-- I am loving my wonderful husband! He works so hard for myself Brody and he is just wonderful!! I am so very thankful for what a wonderful husband and father he really is.

--I am loving our small group that has been meeting on Wednesday's!!

I love it!! It is super cute and stylish with my initials! It is a great way to wear my sunglasses so I don't lose them or so they don't fall off of my head. The sunglass strap would be a great accessory to add to your wardrobe or a gift for a friend!!

On Saturday we went and celebrated Mialyn's 2nd Birthday Dora Theme and we had so much fun! I had told Brody we were going to Mialyn's Birthday party and was so excited especially about Birthday Cake! It was a super cute party with a fun inflatable and even Swiper came for a visit! Brody loves Birthday Parties, and so do I!!

Happy Mother's Day to the amazing woman I am blessed to call my Mother! You are such a wonderful Mom who has taught me so much and has always been such an amazing Mom! Prayers for Lance

As I have mentioned before on my blog about Lance ( a friend from my hometown that was involved in a car accident back in November) I would like to ask special prayers for him at this time! He has been home for several weeks but started having some seizures yesterday and is in UK hospital. I pray daily for his recovery, healing, strength and for his family.

Exactly 4 weeks until I will be laying on the beach, getting a tan, soaking up the sun, playing in the sand with my sweet little boy,and making making memories with my family..... I can't wait!!!! We decided on going to Pawley's Island, SC. This is our first time vacation there, so if any of you have vacationing there and can tell me anything about it, please let me know!

I am busy today getting thing's ready for my cousin Lacey's wedding shower that I am helping throw along with my sister, mom, and Aunt's. I am excited for it and for Lacey's wedding which is in 6 weeks!!!

Sick Baby Boy

I have been up since 2:30 with a sick little boy. He went to bed fine but woke up about 2:00 pretty restless and couldn't get comfortable. He kept telling me that his mouth was hurting and the next thing I knew, he had thrown up. Bless his heart. I absolutly hate when my ltitle guy is sick and he is so pitiful when he "get's sick." We got up and came to the living room to our big comfy chair. He has gotten sick a few more times but has been sleeping on me for the last 2 hours. I CAN NOT sleep when he is sick, so I have been watching TV (nothing has been on but infomercials) and watching his every move. Hopefully it is just a little bug and he will be feeling better soon!!!

Looks like we are supposed to be getting more storms today, I am so over the rain! We have issues with our basement, it leaks water BAD, Monday we had about 8 inches in it. So My dad had some guys work on itand put some new pipes to drain outside and it still didn't really fix the problem, so all of this rain we are getting doesn't help!

Easter

We celebrated Easter all weekend with my family over at my parent's house. We had a great time laughing, eating, and making memories as a family as we celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!

We have been having alot of rain and that made it hard to be able to hunt Easter eggs outside, so I took Brody to an Easter egg hunt Friday night where they hunted eggs inside, it didn't matter to him he loved it!!

I love Spring!

I absolutely love Spring time!!! Although we are having a rather cool and rainy spring, I still love it! I love seeing all of the beautiful flowers in bloom and having some warmer days (kind of since were having some cool weather here in KY). Spring is such a time of joy and hope of plants, animals, and new life. Spring is such a pleasant season.I love spring for its freshness and it's vibrancy. I love spring for the longer hours of daylight, that just lift's my spirits. There is nothing better than waking up on a Spring Morning with the sun shining and the birds chirping, I know you have to agree? Spring is a beautiful time of the year and I love coming out of winter into such a beautiful season!!!

I love taking pictures in the spring and capturing the beautiful moments of the season. I love taking pictures! By uploading them to Shutterfly you can make beautiful Photo Books to share with your family and friends! The season spring also brings Easter (which is tomorrow and I'm so excited for) and for Mother's Day. A we are apprcoahing Mother's day and thinking of gift ideas I think of getting Mother's Day Cards from shutterfly as well. Also spring means graduation for alot of people as well, with a best friend graduating college these awesome Graduation announcements would be perfect for her!
