Happy Belated Birthday Timmy!!!

Yesterday was my hubby's 25th birthday and I wasn't able to be on the computer so I wanted to take today and Wish him a Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Opening of my Aunt & Uncle's New Grocery store was on Wednesday and it went great!!!!! There wee so many people out and the store looked awesome, I think everyone of the community was very impressed!

So my favorite part.. the bathrooms, they are so cute!! Here is the otuside of the women's, it looks like an outhouse on the outside and the insde looks like you are under a gazebo and the mens is the same on the outside and then it looks like your looking out a duck blind on the inside!

I'm still here...

I am still here, I promise! I have been so busy this week and Timmy has been gone for work  (more on that later) and he took our laptop with him so I have been using my moms and it doesn't work well at my house so I am using my cousin Lacey's now to update!

Timmy was off work last Thursday and Friday so we spent Thursday at the pool and then on Friday we took Brody to his 18 month check-up and then we went to Jeffersonville, OH to the outlets and shopped!
Brody had a great check-up and didn't have to get any shots. He weighed 27 lbs and was 33 inches long and was perfectly healthy, yay! The dr. did say I need to teach him how to sleep in his own bed, I am sorry but I am all about a family bed (co-sleeping)!!!!!!

Friday night my sister and nephews came to my parents so we got to hang out with them friday night and Saturday, they are just too cute! Brody absolutly loves them and gets soooooo excitied when they are here!!! I love it. Also on Friday night we took Brody down to my cousin Lacey's Fiances camp on the river and had a bon fire and Brody roasted his first marshmellow!!!! We didn't stay long because it was very hot and humid, but fun!

Saturday we got Timmy packed and then went to the Drag strip with his dad and some friends and stayed there. Sunday we got up and Brody and I got Timmy off and we went and headed home to make it to church and then had a lazy Sunday!

Timmy has accepted a new job with the same company he works for but it has a school/training you have to attend for 10 weeks and it is in..... ATLANTA!! He can drive home on the weekends... we already miss him a lot. The job is a great opportunity for him and our family. After he finishes the trainging it could also mean.. MOVING. I will not tell you where just yet....... So I am a single mama throughout the week. We have stayed busy this week and I am so thankful I live right by my parents. My cousin Lacey has moved in with me, so she is here in the evenings/night with me!

Today is a Big day in our family...
My Unlce John and Aunt Marsha own our local grocery store and for the past year they have been working so hard on building a new bigger and better store and today is the opening!!!!! It is an absolytly beautiful store, a mini Kroger I have never been in such a nice grocery store. I will be going down today to enjoy and to take pictures!!! Congratulations to them!!!!!!!

New words...

Brody has become quite the little talker here in the last few weeks, he is constantly babbling in his own little language but here lately he is really starting to say a lot more actual words and putting words together. He says alot of words and has been for quite awhile but in the last week it seems like he can say pretty much any word you tell him and he is saying more two letter words. Some of his new words from this week are... Hot Rod, Golf Cart, and BRODY! You can ask him what his name is or point to him and he will say "Brody." It is the most adorable thing ever. Another cute thing he has done is when My mom was watching him the other night ( Timmy & I had date night, Mexican and Eclipse YES) she said he kept point to her diamond necklace and earrings and saying "Pretty." He kept doing it once I got home and every time he first sees her, so cute.

I started helping my dad in his office yesterday and am going to try and help out here and there to make sure he stays caught up on important things, Brody loves staying with my mom and I am just 5 minutes down the road. I am glad I can help my dad when he needs it. I worked in his office while I was pregnant, so I just had to get back in there and get re-acquainted with things.

Brody is napping right now and then we are going to head out to the pool! Hope everyone is having a great week! I am a little behind on the pictures I have posted and can't really remember what I have and haven't posted but I do know my sister Lindsey just called and said "You need to blog some new pictures" So here you go Lin!!

My Best Friend's Wedding..

I know that it seems I have been MIA for a little while but I have just been extremely busy!! I promise to start back to my regular blogging!! Everything is going great.. Brody is such a little ham and really starting to talk and put so many words together in th past few days!!!!!

This past weekend was one of my Best Friends Wedding. We have been friends since we were just little girls in Elementary School! She and Tyler started dating our senior year of highschool! She has been away at school at EKU and has just moved back home and she and Tyler will be living right down the road from me ( yay). Thursday evening Brody and I helped decorate the church, Friday we helped decorate the reception and went to the rehersal and rehersal dinner and Saturday we started getting ready at 8:00. The wedding was perfect and Alyssa was absolutly beautiful and we all had a blast!! Congratulations Alyssa & Tyler!!!!!!!
If you notice Brody isn't in any of the wedding day pictures because it was the same day as My husbands side of the family's Pig roast/ Family reunion so he took Brody with him and I went over once the reception was over! This was the first time my husband has ever taken him by himself ( its an hour and a half away) and the fatherst and longest I have ever been away from Brody, I had a busy day with my girls and di fine and Brody did great but he was so happy to see me!!!!!!

Brody Luke-- 18 Months Old

Brody Luke turned 18 months on Monday (7-5-10) and I am just getting the time to sit down and write out his 18 month birthday post.

18 Months Old

Brody Luke,

You have just turned 18 months old Brody and it has been the most wonderful 18 months I could have ever asked for. I love being your mommy and I am so blessed and so lucky. You are such a sweet boy just as I always say and you only throw a few fits here and there. You mostly throw them when you are tired but boy when you do throw them you sure know how to do it.

At 18 months I think you weigh around 27 lbs and you are wearing a sz 18-24 months in clothing and a size 4 in diapers. You wear a sz 5-6 in shoes and I am not sure how tall you are but you are really growing. You are starting to get quite a bit more hair and since we are outside alot it is pretty blonde and so cute.

You love to go on "rides" on the ranger and you love being outdoors. You love going out to the swimming pool and saying "Go" as you jump into the pool to Mommy.  You love playing with your cousins Zachary and Landon and your Uncle Titus, you act like such a big boy playing with them. You love Finding Nemo and your Nemo Stuffed Animal.

You new favorite foods this month are pickles and jello. You are still nursing at this time but mostly for naps and at night. You love your paci and have to have it to sleep. You are still sleeping with mommy and daddy and that is just how we like it. I have bought you a potty to try and introduce potty training to you but you cry and won't even sit down on your potty.

You are talking so much and saying so many different words I cannot even type them all out.

You are such a sweet boy. You love to give kisses and hugs (lovins).

I am so blessed that you are a healthy baby boy Brody!!
