We are heading out tomorrow morning with my family to the Hills of Tennessee!!!! We are staying in a beautiful cabin and were going to do a lot of outlet shopping and good eating!! Oh and we wouldn't miss a trip to Dolly's Dixie Stampede!!! I will be back on Sunday with lots of pictures!!

I wish I never had to dust or Mop ever again! I don't mind to clean, or sweep, or do laundry but I absolutly hate to DUST AND MOP!!! I feel like even if I have just dusted it needs dusted again tomorrow! I also hate to mop, I just hate it!!!!!
My Husband is an avid hunter! He loves to hunt, really. When it is hunting season you can expect him to be in the woods all day when he can and I know not to bother him or ask of anything else during this time so you can only imagine that when he found out we were having a boy he wanted to buy him all kinds of camo! He loves to see Brody in his camo too so when he got home from work I had him in his camo onesie, he is pretty darn cute in it if I say so myself.
We had a great weekend and I have plenty of pictures to show for that but let me start out with the story about Brody's 1st boo-boo so when you see his poor little nose in all of these pictures you aren't wondering what happened. He was sleeping on the couch and yes I was watching him like I always do, I don't go far and my cousin Lacey stopped by and we were standing in the kitchen ( 2 ft away from living room and I could still see into the living room) when we heard a cry, we ran in and Brody had fallen off of the couch onto the big couch cushion and then he took a nose dive into the carpet. I picked him up and saw blood and his tooth had cut the inside of his lip just a little bit and he didn't cry for long and I got him calmed down. About an hour later I was talking to Lacey and I said one side of his nose look a little red, well it wasn't until he woke up the next morning that it looked awful, I cried because it looked so bad and I felt awful. He must of got a carpet burn when he did a nose dive into the carpet. I feel so bad because it just looks awful. You will see it in the pictures.. I promise I'm not a bad mother, accidents happen right???

10 Months old
Brody Luke,
10 months...10 months.. are you really already 10 months old? In just two more months you are really going to be a year old and we are going to be having the most special one year birthday party ever? I cannot believe this, where does the time go?
You are laying beside me all propped up on your pillow sleeping, with your blanket, in your spot in Mommy and Daddy's bed, just like a little prince. You are absolutely perfect Brody Luke.
These last 10 months have been the most amazing months of my life. You have taught me so many things about life and who I am. You are such a blessing and I am so thankful for you. You are such a happy baby and all you do is smile. I love it. I love to smile and I love that you love to smile, smiles are contagious you know.
I took you to the Dr today for a check up.. you were 22 lbs and 28 inches long. You are officially out of your infant carrier and in a big boy seat. You are still wearing anywhere from 9-12 month clothing and a sz 3 in shoes. You wear a sz 3 in diapers as well. You are still nursing, not as much since you eat food and snacks now. You love to eat your snacks. You love mum-mums, lil crunchies, yogurt melts, and puffs. I have started introducing you to table foods and you love them.
You are pulling up onto everything and I really think you will be walking soon. You love to pull up onto the entertainment center and stand and watch TV. You are into everything and keeping mama on her toes. You love to play with your toys and you love bath time. You also love to watch cartoons now and you will lay on the couch with momma when your sleepy and fall asleep for a little bit, it is so cute. You are babbling all the time now, you want to talk so bad! You say Mama, Dada, and sometimes Hi and Bye. You also wave every now and then and when you wave you wave with your whole arm. You love to watch people and see what everyone is into. You usually go to bed around 9:00 and pretty much sleep through the night unless you wake for your paci or just a little comfort from your momma and you sleep until about 7:00.
You are my joy Brody. I just love being your momma. I am so blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby boy. You are absolutely precious and the apple of my eye. I would do anything for you. I love being your mom and I wouldn't trade it for anything. You are growing up way too fast on me, please slow down.

Happy 10 months Brody Luke!!
I first started this blog when I found out I was pregnant kind of in place as a scrapbook or journal and then once Brody was born I started updating it a lot more so that family and friends could stay updated and so it could be like a scrapbook. I want to remember each and every moment with my beautiful baby boy. I want to remember the exact day that 1st tooth came through the skin, or the first time he tried baby food and what he thought of it. I want to remember all of his "firsts" and capture everything, it all goes by way too fast. I want something that I can go back and look at to help bring back all of the memories we have already made.
We have a nightly routine and I wasn't able to get pictures of it all but every night we start out by taking a bath. I fill the tub up and put Brody in his seat, he knows the routine. He sits in his set and holds his hand out while I bring the bar up and when it clicks in place he knows that it is okay to put his hands down. He loves his baths, he loves to play with his bath toys and he really likes to chew on the washcloth. I sing him songs, and I splash the water and show him how to play with his toes. I wash him off and get him all clean while singing him a song. When we get out I wrap him up in a towel and take him straight to his room and I turn his music on, he loves it. We have a changing table but we don't really use it instead we sit on the floor. I lotion him up and give him his baby massage and then I use a little powder and I put his diaper on. Then I let him play in his room just in his diaper and we read books. Then I put his Pj's on and we go to spend a little more time with daddy before we go to bed.
Some may think it is silly to have these pictures but these are memories for me. This is my life, my world, my everything. This is what I do. This is my job and I take a lot of pride in it. I want to be able to look back and see my doing "my job." These are my memories that I never want to forget.
I am really wanting a new purse. I usually get a new purse for Christmas and my Birthday. I didn't want one for my birthday this year since I just throw a wallet or wristlet into my diaper bag but Purses are my thing.. well they used to be until I had Brody. I would much rather have Brody and throw a wallet into my diaper bag tho :) But I would like a new purse for Christmas, maybe:)
