I'm so Thankful

With this being "Thanksgiving" week I have tried to take time out each day to remember what I am truly thankful for each and every day. Sometimes I just forget how God has truly blessed me and my family so much! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

I wanted to make a list of what I am thankful for this season!!


I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and beautiful baby boy. My life is complete with these two. I am thankful that my husband has a good, stable job that allows me to be a stay at home mom with Brody. I am thankful that Brody is healthy and such a happy baby. I am so thankful for My Family. Sorry yall but I have the most wonderful family anyone could ever of asked for. My sisters are my best friends and so is my little Brother. I'm thankful that we are so close and able to always get along and be there for one another. Big Families are so much fun. I am thankful for my adorable, sweet, nephews and wonderful Brother in Law Matt. I am so thankful for my Mom and Dad, they are amazing, seriously.

I am so thankful for my friends! I have some of the best friends you could ask for!!

I am thankful that I have a nice home with all that we need and want.

I am thankful for so many things but these are just a few....

Sick..Sick..Sick!

What a sick weekend!!!! No kidding!!

On Friday morning I woke up and was so weak I could barely get Brody out of bed and Brody had such a horrible nasty cough. I just knew I was getting the virus that has been going around so bad! Timmy works 3rd shift so he got home and watched Brody for a few hours while I went back to bed and then he needed to go to bed so I got back up and called Brody's DR to get him an appt. I took him to the Dr while I was barely even able to carry him in ( a mother has no sick days). The dr said he just had alot of mucus and put him on an antibiotic which I hate because it gives him the most awful diaper rash!! I brought him home and we took a nap and then my mom and Timmy watched him while I layed on the couch. I felt better as soon as we woke up yesterday morning. Then it hit Timmy and it hit him alot worse than it did me ( I'm tougher too) and he is still on the couch today but feeling a little better. Not only did we have it but my little brother had it, my 2 nephew's were here and they got it, and now my sister Lindsey who was home for the weekend has it. I just hope it all passes, we all get better soon, and that it DOESN'T COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playdate, Bowls, and Christmas Decorations!

We have had a busy but fun day today! Today we had a play date with Daisy! I watched her for the day for her mom ( my cousin Kelley). Daisy is 7 1/2 months old and she and Brody are so cute together! They played together and napped together! They sure kept my busy!!!!!

My sister has told me a couple times to get out some pots and pans and let Brody bang around on them and I never did but he was wondering in the kitchen and got into a cabinet and was fascinated by the bowls, he loved them!!!!!

I have been wanting to get my Christmas tree out and some decorations and get started on my Christmas decorating!! I finally talked Timmy into helping me tonight and we got a start on things. Brody didn't really know what to think of the tree and lights he just kept staring at it!!

We got the tree up but we need to put the ornaments on. I also need to get some more lights and get my cascading bow made for the top. We also got the mantle decorated ( still need stockings), and the entertainment center. We got a start!!!

My nephews came into town today to stay with my parents for the weekend!! I love it when they are here!!!!!!

Brody's 1st trip to Tennessee!!

We have made it home from TN and we had a great time!!! This was Brody's 1st little vacation and his 1st time to TN. There were alot of "Firsts" for Brody on this trip. Let's see.. Brody's 1st time seeing a bear, seeing Santa Claus, riding on a carousel, a toy train, visit to Dixie Stampede, and he had such a good time and was such a little trooper the whole trip!!

We covered alot of ground while we were there and did several different things. We went to some things in Pigeon Forge, went to Gatlinburg, went to Ober Gatlinburg, outlets, Dixie Stampede, Woody's Track, and we ate a lot of good food!!! Our cabin was great and we had a beautiful view!! We also had a little visitor one morning and once in the middle of the night getting in our trash..a bear!!

We had a great trip and it is always alot of fun when my whole family is together!!!!!! Here are a lot of pictures from our trip!!!

Hills of Tennessee

We are heading out tomorrow morning with my family to the Hills of Tennessee!!!! We are staying in a beautiful cabin and were going to do a lot of outlet shopping and good eating!! Oh and we wouldn't miss a trip to Dolly's Dixie Stampede!!! I will be back on Sunday with lots of pictures!!
