Review & Giveaway from Dotted Designs

I am so excited to be hosting a review and a giveaway from an adorable Etsy shop "Dotted Designs"  I was sent this adorable personalized acrylic tumbler with lid and straw, personalized with my name! It is so cute and preppy and I have already enjoyed drinking my water out of it! It is a great cup that keeps your beverage so cold and plus it is so cute!

I asked the owner of Dotted Designs to tell me more about herself and her Etsy shop so I could share this with you all, my reader's.

I am a mom of 2 of my own American teenage daughters. Our family also hosts an exchange student each year so I have also been host mom to a Malaysian, Indian, Swiss, German and now a Japanese daughter. I have spent the last years very busy with family.

We are always looking for cute ideas for Birthday gifts for the kids friends at school and like doing lots of different kinds of crafts. My sister and I thought these tumblers would make great gifts if they were personalized and so she found a site where we could order the plain cups but had to order 100. Well, after I got my 50 and made a few, I thought they turned out so cute that decided to list a few on Etsy totally on a whim! Luckily for me it was early November and there were a lot of people out there looking for Christmas gifts because the business took off right away. Although Personalized tumblers are my best seller I have added and continue to add new products. When I go to the store I am always noticing more things that can be personalized! I've definitely become addicted!

Starting Dotted Designs was completely unplanned but it had been a huge blessing for me. This year has brought a lot of scary changes-my oldest daughter started college this past fall 700 miles away from home and last month my younger daughter left for Ghana to be an exchange student for a semester! (She has a blog if you are interested in life in Africa- http://mackenzieslifeinghana.blogspot.com) So my Etsy site has given me something else to do with my new found extra time and to concentrate on besides worrying :) Also when the girls are home they like to help with packaging, printing labels, boxing orders and whatever else I need help with. We have a great time filling orders!
