We just back from the Doctor's office a little bit ago and Brody is sound asleep. He was a little fussy this morning anyway because he didn't get to be lazy this morning and stay in bed until 9-9:30, I had to wake him up at 7:30 ( and no he doesn't sleep straight remember we get up at 5 for about an hour and a half). I just knew the shots were not going to go as well this time as they did at his 2 month check-up.
Dr. Hudson checked him over and said he was so healthy and doing wonderful and told me to keep up the good work. I said isn't he so big and he said he is healthy Lea. He was over the 50th percentile in height and weight but not off the charts like I thought he would be, sorry baby boy I didn't really think you were fat. He also said I could start him on some rice cereal and fruits and veggies if I wanted. I may wait a little longer but I think I may give the rice cereal a shot. For those mommies out there whats your best advice on first starting and how did you all do it???
Brody did not like getting his shots this time and it broke my heart, I hate to see him cry and he cried so hard!!!! He didn't even like the one they give orally, it is sweet and he loved it last time, he cried the whole time this time. As soon as they gave them to him I scooped him up and held him so tight and rocked him to sleep, he is still sleeping. Mommy's poor little baby.
So for Brody's stats at 4 months....
Weight-- 16.2 lbs!!!!!!!
Length-- 24 3/4 in
Head-- 16 1/2
Waiting for the Dr. to come in..See what I mean? Mommy's poor baby

It is so funny how alike our boy's are! Carter was in the 60th percentile; he was 12.8 lbs at his 2 month check up and I also thought he was overweight but the doctor said no.
Aww that poor face; look how hard he is crying! :(
he's getting so big!
What a cutie! Blake wasn't as big as I thought he was going to be at his visit either. Congrats on your healthy boy!
I hate seeing him cray when he gets shots. Even though I know it is for his own good he cries so hard!
I totally cried when Jayden got his first shot! i wish i could have taken it for him!! It get so much easier after a few more trips!
ohh bro bro aunt krittie is coming to hold you right now lol. he is precious. praise God he is healthy :)
Poor baby! Shots are the worst! I love the pics of both of y'all! You look great girl! So pretty! I started Riley with just a couple of bites of cereal. I think I probably mixed 1 tablespoon. I would try for the 1st time at lunch or sometime during the day, but not at night. Just in case he has any kind of reaction you will be able to monitor it better. I'm sure he'll do great though! Riley loved the stuff! Good luck! I can't wait to hear how it goes!
PS-I'm still trying to hunt down some prom pictures! haha
He is precious! Brooklynn hated cereal so I mixed it with a little bit of the gerber apple juice and she LOVED it. I did cereal at 4 months and started introducing babyfood around 6.
poor baby! but he sure is a cutie pie!
Oh, that last picture, Lea! I feel for you two. I remember those terrible 4 months shots. Baby B and I came home and both of us zonked out on the couch.
Hope you both have recovered...and I love his shirt ;)
