Brody's 1st time to feed himself

Tonight I was giving Brody his cereal before bed and I was giving him his bath afterwards and I decided I would let him try and feed himself, just for fun! He was so cute, loved it, and made a mess. You will be able to see in the pictures we were using a spoon/fork because for some reason all of his spoons have disappeared! I don't think much went into his mouth but he had fun trying and hated when I finally pried the "spork" out of his fingers!

Awe! He is just precious! Trail tries to take the spoon out of my hands. I let him "feed" himself, but I put the food on it for him--I'm not brave enough to give him the bowl yet. Maybe when he's Brody's age!

Ahhhh....self feeding! The HARDEST/WORST/MESSIEST part of growing up! My 20 month old is into it right now and I can't stand it! There's food all over him, all over the floor and worst of all, all over the booster chair which is SO HARD to clean! I honestly believe this is much worse than potty training!

But of course Brody looks adorable all covered in his baby food!

Hah, So cute, Do you have to feed him without clothes all the time now? He's trying and thats just adorable.
How old was Brody when he started to sit up and eat in a highchair? We didn't get one and I figured we would just wait until ours is old enough but I'm not really sure how old that usually is?
