He really is asleep in his own bed!!

As most of you know Brody has always slept with Me and Timmy.... well he did sleep in his pack n play off and on the first 4 months of his life. I wanted him in bed with us, end of story. Yes it would have been nice for him to nap in his own bed but I made the habit.... My mom watched Brody while we went for a quick dinner to Toro Loco with my sister and her bf and when we came home he was asleep and she was rocking him in his room. She asked if I wanted her to put him in his crib and I said she could try... well she did and he stayed and he is still there and has been for the last hour.. OH my Goodness! Firs thing I said to Timmy was.." He is not sleeping there all night." I have a problem, an addiction. I need my Brody Baby to go to sleep!! For the past 21 months or well 30 ( If you want to count while I was pregnant) I have gone to sleep with Brody right with me. This could be a bad night. I am so glad he is in his crib but it is time to make the transition to a toddler bed and he is in the crib.. oh my. I'm rambling I know.. Also I don't have moniters anymore because the set I got I never used and they weren't very good so I got rid of them and now I need them! Guess I will be sleeping in the floor in his bedroom.. because what if I wouldn't hear him? I would die.
This may be a long night..... he looks so sweet sleeping in his crib in his footed pajama's... He will always be my little baby.

Aw! I remember how hard that was! I would check on him a dozen times the first couple of nights to make sure he was breathing!!

You'll have to let us know if he made it all night...or if YOU did!!!

Happy Friday, girl! And, yes, let's totally thrift someday :)

I feel the same way. I would not sleep well if Andrew was not sleeping next to me. We are thinking of transitioning him to a full size bed with rails. I am nervous!

I soooo wish Ty would sleep in his big boy bed. He did for a month and then he decided he wanted to sleep with his mommy and daddy. UGH!!!! Unlike you, I don't want my boy in bed w me. I'm a bed hog and need my space. HEHE!!!! Ok, keep us updated on how everything goes.

We need an update on how your night went with Brody sleeping in his own bed. I know it's hard at first, but worth it. Not to mention it helps your relationship w/your hubby :)
