Dentist, City Limit's, Swim Class, Superbowl!

I meant to blog about all of this sooner but I got behind, I am trying to get better about blogging. I want to try and start posting something every day, let's see if I can do it.

Last Thursday Brody had another dentist appointment, not sure where I left off of here on the blog with his dentist trip's. We went to another dentist in South Point that we were referred to. Brody is such a big boy at the dentist and did a great job! He loved all of the ladies that worked there, especially after they took him to the "sticker" room. Brody DOES have to have a surgery on his teeth, which will consist of filling cavities and making some repairs. I hate he has to already have dental work done so young but his dentist assured me it was normal and that this was the average age that kids start having trouble. They can't really say for sure why he already is having problems but that it is most likely because of drinking Juice. Mind you, Brody never really started drinking alot of juice until he quit nursing at 19 months, and I will say since then he has loved his apple juice, but never even drank it at night time. His "surgery" is scheduled for April 1st as of right now and it is a  procedure that will take about 1 1/2- 2 hours. I am very hesitant to do this but the Dentist said it needed to be done because the longer I let the teeth go the more damaged they would be, so we are definitely getting it done.

After his dentist appointment we went to swim class where he is doing great and he loves it!!!! He cries when we have to get out and wants to go back the next day, so he "swims" in the bath tub for now. I am so looking forward to summer with him spending out days by the pool!!!!!  Then after swim class we went to City Limit's (bowling , lazer tag, arcade games) with our church for an evening of fun!

Saturday I had a girl's day with my Aunt Marsha, cousin Lacey (bride), cousin Grace, and best friend's Alyssa and Laura. We went bridesmaid dress shopping for Lacey's wedding and we found the cutest dresses and had a great day!!! Timmy had Brody for the day and this was the longest I had gone without him in 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed him so much but it was nice having a day with my best friends!

Sunday we went to church and to Toro Loco and then spent the day resting up for the Super Bowl. We went over to my parent's house for there party and made some finger foods and had a great time watching the game, okay mostly eating with family and friends!!

I have a few super cute giveaway's that are going to be coming up, be sure to check back!!!

I hate that Brody has to have surgery but better now than more later I guess. I really need to take Riley to the dentist too for his 1st check-up but it keeps slipping my mind to look for one.

Hope y'all had a great weekend! I love your shirt with the ruffles on it!

I can't believe how big Brody is!! I'm sorry that he has to have surgery. My 8 year old nephew is going through something similar with 15 cavities and a lot of other repair that needs to be done. Poor things!

Oh man, sorry to hear about the surgery. I'm sure everything will go smoothly and you'll be glad you did it when it's all over with:)

Hearing you talk about swim lessons reminds me that it's time we did the same! I can't believe summer will be here before we know it!

that sucks about having surgery--at least its his baby teeth, right? And, it sounds like you'll have some great days ahead of you at the pool...
