Brody is rolling all over the place now and he scoots around all the time. I will lay him on his play mat and the enxt thing I know he is on the other side of the room!! haha

Brody and my nephews they went to Gatlinburg and brought Brody back a little black bear and they were all matching in their madras!
This weekend is the 4th of July and we aren't for sure exactly what we are doing yet, but whatever we do I am sure it will be fun! I'm excited to see what Brody will do during fireworks. Will he like them or will they scare him?
I have the Chicco Discovery Stroller System that I absolutely love!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone, but I am wanting to get something more lightweight and that takes up less room in my trunk and not so bulky. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money but I want something more than just an umbrella stroller. I want one that is sturdy, comfortable, and has a basket at the bottom... any suggestions?????

I have the Chicco lightweight stroller and I like it so far. It has a basket and is sturdy and turns well. It's about $69 I think.

So glad his eye is doing better! I don't have any suggestions for a stroller though b/c we just kept the big travel system & his jogging stroller until he did better in the umbrella stroller. But actually I have a friend that has a Graco Mosaic that is really compact, but has a big storage area at the bottom. She loves it & if I had seen it before I got his big travel system I would've gotten one too. I have the Chicco umbrella stroller and LOVE it. It's a sturdier than most, more roomy, and has adequate storage beneath. My only complaint is the height - I am tall (5'10") and find that it's a little shorter . I wish it had adjustable handles.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Sometimes I just feel like all I do is worry. But its nice to know I'm not the only one. 3 times to L &D huh, thats funny but hey if you felt like you needed to go I don't blame you. I would have done the same thing.

I felt the same way and got rid of our travel system when my daughter was 10 months. We have an umbrella stroller, it's a Chicco from Babies-R-Us, it was $69.
It has a basket under and is very small when folded. I can even put it on the floor in the back seat. I did however miss all the compartments and other storage so we got a jogging stroller....back to square one with zero room in the back of my SUV now! :)
