For the past few months my mom, sisters, and aunts have been telling me that Brody has been saying Momma but I always miss it and I didn't really believe them. Well then I started to hear it when he would be crying and I was like well that's just a sound in his cry well yesterday I REALLY heard it. I was getting ready for church and he was in his walker beside me and he started to cry, well I was making him wait a few minutes just while I finished my make-up and he looked up at me and was crying and saying Momma and Mum Mum and reaching for me so of course I threw my make up down and picked him right up. He is my little sweetie, my angel baby boy, the love of my life, my best little bud, my beautiful baby boy. I love that he is saying momma now even if it is mostly when he is crying ( I don't let him cry much.)
He has also been saying Da a little bit here and there and I love that too!!!
I thought Brody was going to completely skip crawling and go to walking but the past few days he has been pushing himself up more on all fours and he also pulled halfway up on our ottoman for the first time!! Please don't grow up too fast Brody Luke!! Mommy will carry you on her hip as long as you need!!!!!

Awe--that is so sweet! I think it's more common for the first word to be "dada", so that makes it EVEN more special! :)
Aww, that is so sweet!!! Charli Beth said Mommy as her first word while looking through a newspaper one day, and I missed it too =(
I also thought that Charli was going to skip crawling, but BOY did she prove me wrong!! haha. Your fun is just beginning with Brody and his crawling!

My son started saying "Dada" at first, then like Brody, my son started whimpering, & crying then I could here it, he said mamma for 2 days, then quit! :(
