For the longest time I thought Brody would just skip crawling and go straight to walking , boy was I wrong. For the last few weeks he has started to push up a little on his hands and knees and use his feet to kinda scoot around to get to where he wants to be. I still didn't think he really had the hang of it and it would be awhile before he started really trying to crawl, once again Mama was wrong. We went down to my Uncle John & Aunt Marsha's tonight to see them and cousin Lacey (Auntie) because she was home from school and it had been a few weeks and we missed her terribly, but anyways and Brody was sleepy and was on the floor on his belly when all of a sudden I looked down and he was pushed up on all four and took his FIRST REAL CRAWL!!!!!! I know that may not be the correct way to say it but it's like taking a first step.... I dropped tot he floor by him laughing and crying all at the same time. It just happened so fast and I WAS NOT ready for it!!!! He then pushed back up and did it a few more times, he doesn't go far but he did it. I didn't have my camera or video camera so I have no proof but it was such a Proud Mommy Moment. It also made me sad because that is another milestone my baby has hit ( so blessed and proud of him) that shows he is getting older and bigger. I think he will really get the hang of this and really just start taking off!!!!!!!!!
I don't have any pictures.. but I will have plenty from this weekend!!!!!! I will be so busy tomorrow and Saturday but I will be back Sunday!! Hope yall have a great weekend!!!

congrats Brody!! Crawling is a big deal! You won't be able to sit down for long periods of time anymore, he'll be on the go!!

Aw Go Brody! To answer your question-we've been dating 5 years and 8 months this month & we know we're getting married just have been waiting for me to finish school...for the income factor! Well I told him I wanted to be engaged for at least a year so I had time to plan the wedding with school and all going on and we know we want to get married next Sept because I want an outside wedding & it's too hot here May-Aug. Anyway awhile back he told me that we'd be engaged by opening day of deer season, which is Oct 1 here (bow season). Oct 1 is 3 weeks from today...he always has been the procrastinating type but I love him!

Awww, what a huge accomplishment for Baby Brody!!
That is so exciting! yay for Brody! It's so sweet isn't it? riley never did crawl right & we lauged constantly! Just be sure to get it on video! :0) Also, to catch up on your last few posts: my favorite costume is the lobster. that is precious. We have a Britax Marathon & absolutely love it. I'm definitely getting another one for my 2nd baby & may just put him/her in it from day 1. riley looks so comfu in it too.
