Double Stroller

I think I did a post about double stroller's before I had Hudson and I ended up just getting another single chicco travel system. I didn't want to invest in a double stroller and then not use it much so I just went with a single again. Hudson is 2 months old and we go out alot and I have realized it would be alot easier if I had a good double stroller. Usually Timmy or someone else is with me but I do go on my own too and with Timmy doing some traveling for work (again) this summer I know I will definitely need one. Plus Brody may be 3 and likes to walk and be a big boy he still gets tired and wants to ride and I have found myself numerous times holding him on one hip with one arm and pushing Hudson with the other. I have been looking at the ones where Brody can sit or stand since he is bigger and would have that option but then there are a few side by side I like as well.

I don't usually get alot of comments but PLEASE if you read this and have some advice leave a comment! This is a big purchase and I want to make sure it is a good one that I won't regret!
Here are the few I have been looking at and considering, so if you have any of them or know anything good or bad about them please let me know!!!! Thanks !

Here are a few I am looking at ....

Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand and Ride Stroller

Joovy ScooterX2 Double Stroller

Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller

Baby Trend Sit N Stand Ultra Stroller

We have the City Mini Double Stroller and I love it! The only thing I didn't like was there is not a cup holder for my drink but they have them separate at babies r us and they work great, I also got a hook to hang my diaper bag! You can seriously whip that stroller around without any problems!

We looked at a sit N stand as well, but my 3 1/2 year old is a runner and she has to be buckled down she would be way to tempted to get up.

I also saved our single stroller from our first daughter and I use that if it's just one kid.

Hi! Our kids are about the same distance apart. I got the Baby Trend sit and stand. I totally recommend doing a sit and stand. He can sit when we wants or jump out (perfect for the mall or zoo). It is also super easy to get through doors, dressing rooms, AND folds up super small and is light weight=)

I started out with a Chicco Together (looks similar to your first pic) but I ended up getting rid of it. The tandem strollers IMO are just way to hard to push and navigate!

I now have two strollers and I love them both for different reasons.

First, I have a Maclaren Twin Techno which is great for traveling, and for small outings.

Then I have a Bob which I adore. I like walking the trails near my home and the Maclaren is not made for that, but my Bob is perfect! It's actually my favorite of the two and if I had to recommend just one, it would be the Bob.

Good luck with your search!

My brother has a 5yr old and 2 yr old and they use the baby trend sit n stand. The 5 yr old doesnt use it a whole lot but if she gets tired, she can sit and ride. I have the city mini single and LOVE it!! I dont have any advice on the double, but I can say that ours turns on a dime and is very smooth. You will want a cup holder attachment. You can also attach Hudsons carseat to one side of the double, BUT the attachment bar is $55!! Try ebay, thats where we got ours. If you live in a big city, try checking craigslist for the double.

We have the Baby Jogger City Mini and LOVE it! My 3 year old and 18 month old are super comfy in it, and I can navigate it really easily. I've only run across one single door that I couldn't fit through. Good luck with your decision -- I know it's a big one!

We have the Sit n Stand and I love it so far. I haven't used it much because I try not to take both kids somewhere at the same time if I don't have to! haha

I have the Baby Trend Sit N Stand, and I really like it. The only problem I've found is that the basket underneath isn't quite big enough to hold my big diaper bag. :) I bought one of the Mommy hooks to attach to the handle and I just carry it there.
