The Shred!

Jillian's 30 Day Shred.. I have started it once..twice.. and now for the 3rd time. I am on day 4 and so far so good. I have worked all the soreness out ( almost) and am feeling pretty good!! I have finally decided it is time to try and get my pre-baby body back! It took me 13 months to finally get motivated!!! I have lost the 65 lbs I gained while Pregnant ( give or take 5 lbs) but my belly..whoa..can it really go back? I knew I had to start somethng if I wanted to be wearing my bikini this summer! My sister and I have started it and we plan to stick with it! We have taken all of our measurements so we can see what improvements we make! Timmy is also back on his big health plan/workout so alot of healthy eating going on at this house and I AM NOT VERY GOOD AT IT!!!!!!!!

School has been keeping me very busy but everything is going really well!! Brody absolutly loves staying at m parent's house! My mom says he is a perfect angel ( would she tell me any differently?). He is always so happy when he sees me when I get home! I am so lucky and blessed to have my mom right beside me and able to watch Brody for me, I am so thankful for you Mom!!!!!

Alot is going on this weekend, so I am excitied!!! My little brother is playing in the basketball state tourney ( private/smaller schools) this weekend in Lexington, Blogger Meetup in Lexington ( yay), and then to NKY to my sister and Brother-in laws to stay Saturday night and go to church on Sunday morning to hear my sister sing ( I love to hear her any chance I get) and then were all going out to eat for my Aunt Sue's Suprise 70th Birthday!!

I haven't really taken any pictures this week... this is a picture from the summer but I can't wait to seee these adorable little guys this weekend, I miss them so much!!!!!

I'm also glad I get to see my sister and Brother in law too!! I miss them just as much!!!!!!

Sun is shining in KY!!!

It is a beautiful day here in Ky! The snow has melted alot ( not all of it but most of it) and the sun is shining! Who is ready for warm weather, flip flops, sun dresses, and sun tan oil? ME!!!!! I am counting down the days until we are in Isle of Palms, SC staying here...we are going the last part of May into the first week of June and I can't wait! We have never vacationed here but we wanted to go somewhere close that we hadn't been and we LOVE Charelston so this is where my sister picked. So if you have ever been and have any adice on good places to eat, things to do, let me know!!!

For some reason I hadn't posted since Monday.. guess I was in a blogger flunk! Last week we were out of school Monday for President's day and Tuesday for the weather! It was a fast week of classes due to that! School is still going good, I have had a few snow days so it hasn't been too bad.  We have had a good weekend, haven't done a whole lot but had fun!! So excitide that my husband starts 1st shirt tomorrow andis finally off 3rd shift!! I was used to it and he was to but he said it is just so hard on his body and all and I can see why! So were excitied!! Please keep my Uncle Tom in your prayers as he had a very bad stroke on Friday evening and is in ICU at St. Mary's.

Brody loves watching it snow!

Once again it is snowing here in KY!! I am so ready for spring!! We didn't have class today due ot President's Day so I didn't have to worry about getting out. Not sure about class tomorrow, since we are supposed to be getting more snow! I love to see it snow once or twice but I am ready for spring time now!!!

Brody loves watching it snow!!!!!! He loves going to his bedroom window to look out. He would stand there for hours!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Packages especially for Brody Luke!

Brody has recieved his very first Valentine's Day packages in the mail this week!!!! He got one from My sister Tisha, Matt, Zach and Landon! They got him a super cute book, puppy, sent us candy, a drawing and valentine's! Kaye ( Nonnie) sent Brody his very first chocolate sucker from Ruth Hunt, a card with stickers, and a a little Tree growing kit to plant outside!!

I am so ready for spring!!! I am ready for this snow to be gone, but I hear we are supposed to be getting another snow on Sunday!!! Come on Spring and Summer Brody wants to play outside!!!!!

Today we did a little shopping and we got Brody a little Valentine's Day present. His first little basketball! He loved it and even fell asleep in the truck holding it.

We also went to watch my little brother play basketball tonight. Brody loves going but he will not sit still. He wants to be out on the floor playing ball with them!

I had said a few posts ago that Brody had started dancing with his hands, well as of today he is dancing with his legs too! It is the cutest thing ever! I will try and put a video on! He dances up and down and then falls on his butt.

Brody is really starting to become a Daddy's Boy! I told him today that he is Daddy's Boy but he is Mommy's Baby!!! :) Brody loves to play chase around the house with Timmy and he just laughs and laughs and it is just precious!!

Snow Day!

I am finally finding some time to blog even if I should be cleaning my house!!! I have alot to catch up on!!

Snow Snow Snow!!! We are in the middle of a big snow storm and right now we have about 4 inches and it is still coming down! I had lab today to do my Physical Assessment Check off (30 minute skill) at 12:30 but I just don't think Me and Brittany will be able to make it! I am not risking my life! College is not cancelled but everything else in the area is.. we are not going to risk it. 1st Snow Day for us!!!
 So instead I am going to try and get caught up on laundry and my house and spend the day cuddling/playing with my sweet baby boy!!

This past weekend on Saturday we got some snow as well just a few inches and Brody would sit at the door and just cry because he wanted to go outside! He just wanted to go out and walk in it for a few minutues. So I would bundle him up and take him out for a few minutes at a time!

Sunday was Superbowl! We celebrated it at my parent's like we do every year! Some of My aunts and uncles come over and my little brother invites his friends and we have good food! I don't ever watch the game, I do watch some of the commericals but I was busy trying to study!

Brody has been learning all kinds of new things! He has now started to "dance" when music comes on. He doesn't bend his knees he dances with his arms! It is too cute! My mom has started the Baby Can read Program with him and he has really started cathing on to things. He has learned "Hands up & Hands down." He used to wave byebye sometimes but not very often but now he knows Byebye and he waves. He is also learning some different animal words! It amazes me!!!

Brody LOVES eating cereal with his Daddy! Yes my husband eats a bowl of cereal that large and I think Brody could eat one just about the same size too!

13 Months Old


Brody Luke,


It seems like you were just turning a year old yesterday and now you are already 13 months old? You make life such a joy Brody that it is just going by way too fast!!! Alot of changes have happened this past month for you and for me. You have started staying with your Grandma while Mommy goes to school and you are doing great!! You have adjusted well and love staying with her! You are becoming such a big boy right before my eyes!!!!!! You are the most wonderful blessing Brody Luke and I thank God each and every day for giving me such a sweet, healthy, beautiful baby boy! It is so hard to believe that I am the mother to a 13 month old? You grew up way too fast!!

At 13 months old you weigh around 23 lbs and are around 31" long. We have moved you up to a sz 4 in diapers and you are wearing 12-18 months in clothes. You do not eat baby food anymore and you aren't the best eater in the world. You love your snckas and you love fruit! You love mandarin oranges, grapes, and blueberries! You aren't a big fan of meat of any kind. You are still nursing ( just not as often and mosty at night). You won't drink whole milk very much but love ice water and juice.

You are starting to say more words and babble a whole lot more. You say, Mama, Dada, Titus, Ty-Ty, Dog, and your own version of I love you. You love to give kisses and hugs! You can now give high fives too! You love to play basketball and love all kinds of toys. You just amaze me each and every day!You are such a good, sweet baby boy Brody but you know howt o throw a good fit every now and then too!

I am so thankful and blessed Brody Luke.
