We made it home from our Wonderful vacation to the Isle of Palms, SC Friday morning around 6 am. We had an absolutely perfect vacation. We then went to visit Timmy's dad on Saturday and yesterday we went to church and rested. Today I have spent the ady cleaning, un-packing and doing laundry! I have waitied to post so I could get all of my pictures in order but I have yet to get the first 500 pictures I took off of my brother's computer ( I took over 1000 pictures) so i will post some and they will be out of order but when i get the ones from him I may post more. In between everything I also forgot to do Brody's 17 month Post on Saturday, so it will be a little late.
We left last Thursday and headed to Asheville, NC where we went to the Biltmore Estates ( which was amazing) and then stayed at a hotel there for the night. We got up the next morning and headed the rest of the way to Isle of Plams. Our house was absolutely goregous ( my dream home with my dream kitchen). We spent the week laying on the beach, catching waves, bulding sand castles, playing charades, eating a lot of great food, and spending time with my wonderful family!!! We took one day and went into Charleston, whcih is a town I love. We went to the market, walked the streets, took the fairy over to Fort Sumter, and ate at a really good restaurant, Hominy Grill.
We had pretty good weather, rained in the evenings and was a little overcast in the mornings but then the sun would always come out. Brody absolutely LOVED the beach. He loved the water, the sand, he loved it all! He would even take 2 hour naps on the beach, it was perfect!! He was also so good to travel with and did a great job on the trip!! His 2 new words for the week were "Matt" ( Uncle Matt) and "Bob" for Robert ( my sister's bf).
I am so glad we had a wonderful trip with my family, that we all had a great time and safe travels. I am so blessed with such a wonderful family!
