Happy Birthday Timmy!!

It seems hard to believe that when Timmy and I met he was only 20 years old and today he is celebrating his 27th birthday. We have spent the last 7 years doing so many things and have had so many great years and birthday's to celebrate and be thankful for and I am so blessed to say that!

Thank you for all that you do for myself and our precious boys! You are a wonderful husband and father and I am so thankful for that. Of course we have had our up's and down's over the last 7 years. It is hard to believe that you were just 20 years old on our 1st date and now turning 27, but don't worry you're still young! I hope that you have a wonderful birthday, you deserve it!!!

Timmy got home from Atlanta last night just in time to celebrate his birthday with us! Brody has been so excited! He helped me wrap daddy's presents in cars paper ( his choice) and he couldn't wait for him to open them last night when he got home instead of waiting for today!! Brody and Timmy are sleeping in and Hudson and I are going to start on a birthday breakfast and then spend the day at the pool!

Pool Party

Today was a super fun summer day with my boys, family, and friends! We went to Mialyn's pool party at her Grandma Sues for the day and then this evening went to our cousin Estella's 5th birthday party at her Grandma and Grandpa's! New Car, New Monogram-Giveaway

1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?

I started blogging in June of 2008 when I found out I was pregnant with Brody! My blog has not changed much since then except I blog more and know more about blogging then I did back 3  1/2 years ago :)
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I did go to college and I am still in college, ha. I started at UK and then came home after a year and started going to KCTCS where I was studying nursing. I took the year off when I got pregnant and until Brody turned a year. I went back to nursing for 2 semesters and decided I couldn't leave my Brody, so I opted for an online Business Administration Management Degree, I will be finished in December (YES!!!).
3. Where have you traveled?
I have never been out of the US, but I've been to lots of places here!
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
The first thing I would buy... oh my. I would probably just go on a HUGE shopping spree and buy whatever I wanted! I would need to get that out of the way first then I would go from there..haha

5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
This is hard for me.. I am so easy going and try not to let much bother me! I honestly can't think of 3 pet peeves right now..


6. What is your favorite movie?
I have so many but one that comes to mind is Dirty Dancing!

7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
I don't ever drink, eh I hate it! I am a Diet Coke and Sweet tea kinda gal!

8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
I hardly ever have Me time, but I am okay with that I love my boys more than anything! I choose that, I could leave them and have ME time if I wanted. If I take Me time I would just lay out by the pool or go get a mani and pedi!

9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
I would probably choose Macy's or TJ MAXX. That way I could get all kinds of things from home stuff, make up, clothes, shoes, kids things, hubby things, etc. Better yet I would probably choose Hobby Lobby! Love that store and I want unlimited funds to decorate my house :)

10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
Oh wow I have so many embarrassing moments, I am queen of that! But now that I go to think of them I can't really think of one, but trust me I have them!!

11. What day would you love to relive again?
The day I gave birth to my boys! I love labor and delivery and the outcome. I had a perfect labor and delivery with both of my boys and it was two of the most amazing days of my life! I mean really...

12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you?
Oh goodness.. Elle Woods. Not that that is my life at all but I would like to play her!

13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
College
When I was in highschool I would babysit here and there..
--Hollister- I worked there for one 6 hour shirt, it was ridiculous! HATED IT!
--I babysat for a family in Lexington for about a year
-When I was first married I worked at Winchester Retaliations Center until we moved
--When we moved home I worked for my dad until Brody was born!
Now I work... as a Mommy!

14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
All of my pictures form highschool are on my old laptop somewhere or in photo albums at my moms so I searched facebook and a friend had added a few old school this is all I could find. This was right before our Powderpuff football game, don't you love the bandana?

15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
Bora Bora or St. Lucia!!

16. Show us the most current picture of you or you, or your family, or anything of meaning to you.

17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
5 years from now.. wow. Brody will be 8 years old and Hudson will be 5 and I would say I may have another little blessing added to my family! I look forward to what the next 5 years will bring!

Life Lately

I sit down to blog a few times throughout the week but it doesn't always work out, as you can tell ha. We have been staying very busy this summer doing all kinds of fun things (play dates, library, pool time, friends, family, etc.). Timmy has been working alot and working away so I don't have him here to help me with the boys or have any down time ( which is fine by me, love my boys) but I don't find much time to blog.

Last week we did go to Cincinnati Wedding dress shopping for my baby cousin Grace! She is getting married next May and found the most beautiful Maggie Sottero wedding gown, can't wait!!

Timmy was home Friday and we went furniture shopping and then went again on Saturday, once again we came home empty handed because we can never decide! I think our salesman at Ashley furniture may of really been getting tired of us, oh well.

Today we went to Blue Lick to Family Day with my bro-in-law Chris and his wife Alex ( he is in the National Guard) so that was fun. I am so excited, I have know for awhile but I am going to be an Aunt, again (yay) and they find out TOMORROW what they are having and I just can't wait!!!!!!

Tomorrow starts another week with Timmy working away.. We keep busy so the time passes by quickly!

20 Random Facts about ME

1. I always wanted to be a Mom! I played with baby dolls until I as in 7th grade, yes 7th grade. Lee Middleton dolls were my favorite I even had a real Graco baby stroller that I picked out of the JcPenny catalog for my babies. It was a dream of mine that is now a reality!

2. I love my married last name  but way deep down I LOVE my maiden name and my  maiden monogram LLL.

3.  I have 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. Our ages ranger from 37-14. I always think it is neat to say my mom had my little brother when she was 42. I can't imagine being pregnant at 42 now that I've done it, haha.

4. My husband and I were only together for 6 months before he proposed and then we waited 2 1/2 years to get married

5. I lived in the same house my whole life, so blessed and lucky that I never had to move and I have all the memories from one home. My parents still live there and I live right beside them so now my boys get to make memories there too! I've been making memories there for 24 years now!

6. We live in the house that my Grandmother lived in.

7. Love living by my parents.... we share a driveway, our backyards join, we even share the same trash pick-up. Not saying it has been easy especially for my husband at times ( so close to his in-laws) but it is wonderful!

8.  I was raised in church and always worked in the nursery and now I am raising my own kids in church and still working in the nursery :)

9. I used to be obsessed with underwear like I had a real problem. I had about 300 pair at one time.

10. I am not a huge fan of T.V. I have a few shows I record and watch, If I have time.

11. If my TV is on during the day it is on a cartoon or music channel 826--The Spirit

12. I'm a daddy's girl. When I was young, I would hardly let him out of my sight..haha some might say I'm still like that!

13. I think when I was younger I tried everything and really never stuck to anything, I like to say I was well-rounded by trying it all! (Piano, flute, clogging, ballet, tap).

14. I played softball until I was about 13. I was a cheerleader from elementary to high school and played tennis. So I did stick with those...haha

15. I have had 4 vehicles since I turned 16. I have still have an emotional attachment to each of them in some way, haha.

16. I secretly love having babies I think I could do labor and delivery every day but I am not the biggest fan of being pregnant. But.. I am so very thankful and blessed that I am able to have children on my own and I DO NOT take that for granted!

17. I love to clean my house and i love having a clean house sometime it is just finding the time!

18. I am a very calm, easy going, go with the flow kinda gal! I very rearely get mad, I mean I hardly ever get mad. You mess with my family though, that would make me MAD!!!!

19.  I LOVE LOVE my sisters and brother. They are my best friends! We all get along and always have, never fight or anything, love them!!!

20. Me and Timmy met on a blind date, thank goodness I went :)

Hudson Trent- 4 Months Old

I am a little late in posting this but a little late is better than never, right? Right!


This is what sweet Hudson is up to at 4 months old....

Hudson you are my big boy ( just as your big brother was) you weigh 16 lb and 8 oz and you are 26 inches long. You are an awesome eater and still nursing sometimes every 2-3 hours and sometimes every hour. You have also started rice cereal mixed with breast milk and you absolutely love it! I moved you up to a size 3 in diapers and you are wear anywhere from 6-9 months in clothing. You are a very happy baby and you love to be held. You have also been rolling over from you belly to your back. You love chewing on things so I think you have started teething, maybe we will get a tooth soon? You have also started grabbing at toys and holding on to little toys, so cute.  You have went on your 2nd big road trip to Atlanta, GA for a week and you did a great job! You are sleeping pretty good at night, not great but pretty good, each night is different. You sleep just like your brother did, every night is a different story. You sleep right beside mommy. You love your paci and you will only take MAM. You smile so much and it is a smile that just melts Mommas heart, it is adorable. You are so easy to make smile, very happy and always in a good mood!! You have also gone swimming for the 1st time and you LOVE IT, you cried when I got your out! I can't believe you are already 4 months old ( almost 5 now)!

Our Visit to Atlanta

We decided to take a week trip to visit Timmy while he is working away at Atlanta! We had a wonderful time and it was a vacation for us! We went to the aquarium, the children's museum, a couple differet splash parks/pads, the mall, the outlets, and ate alot of good food!! We had a great trip to the city and it was so nice to be with Timmy for the week, even though he worked during the day we were just glad to be with him the evenings and at night!

Also I finally decide and got the City Mini double stroller and I am so thankful, it is awesome! I wish I would have gotten it 4 months ago!!
