Baby Shower and Dolly Parton!!!

I had the best weekend ever!!!!!! A baby shower and a Dolly Parton concert all rolled up into one weekend, what more could you ask for, right?

Saturday was my baby shower that my mom and sisters gave and it was a lot of fun!!! So many people showed up and I got so many cute things for little Baby Brody, I can't wait for him to get here so I can use everything. My sisters got me the Chicco stroller and infant seat and put it together for me and I LOVE IT!! I have pushed it around, haha I can't wait to actually get to use it. I got a lot of other great things, gliders, bouncy seats, pack n play, clothes, towels, socks, shoes, bath stuff, bibs, etc. I have tried to put everything up in his room but I'm already running out of space and I still have another shower in November. I was so thankful for everyone who came and all the gifts for my little boy:)

On Sunday My mom, sisters, cousin, and friend went to Louisville to see Dolly Parton (this was my birthday surprise) and it was amazing!!! I just love her, it was such a good concert. I will say she is even smaller than I imagined with even bigger boobs..haha you weren't allowed to take pictures so I wasn't able to get any but she was great!!! If you don't like her you need to listen to her new album, so good. I love her song "Jesus and Gravity." Go Listen!

Oh and another great thing that happened this last weekend was my little brother Titus was baptized!!!!! How exciting!!!! He is 11 years old and such a sweet young man that has chose to accept Christ as his savior. I am so proud of him!!! My Dad and Uncle Joe baptized him and the neat thing is that he got baptized in the pond (yes it was freezing) behind our house, which is where our dad was baptized as a young child and our uncle.

Here I am with my best friend and cousin Lacey this past Saturday, I was 1 day short of being 25 weeks. We were at my cousin Kyle's wedding shower. Laacey just can't believe my big belly. Since she is away at college, everytime she sees me I have grown.

This is Brody's changing table/dresser that is in his room. AS you can see the door still isn't on because Timmy needs to get a different sized washer or something, so hopefully he gets that soon. The room still needs some work. Timmy needs to get the outlet covers on, we need to hang stuff, and I am still looking for a rocker and a small dresser or night stand.

I know I have definitely been slacking on my blog postings. I have alot of pictures to update on and will have more this weekend. This weekend is my first baby shower that my mom and sisters are giving me and I am so excited!!! Also this Sunday My mom, sisters, Lacey, and Laura were all going to a Dolly Parton concert that was my birthday surprise and I cannot wait!!!!!! I love her and have always wanted to see her in concert so I am just ecstatic.

I had a doctors appt. last week and everything went good, I go back November 12th. I am 25 weeks and 3 days today. I have grown alot I will post a picture of my belly soon.

I have pictures to post of Brody's room as well, we got the crib in and put together and it looks so good!! I still need to get a rocker or recliner and a little small dresser or nightstand and hang things on the wall but I go in there everyday, I can't wait til he is here!!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that everything is great, I have just been busy!!!!

Growing and Growing and Growing

I keep growing and growing and growing, and I do not like it!!!!!!!! I hate to be like that, but you just don't feel very good when everything looks awful and you feel uncomfortable but I know it will all be worth it when i hold my little precious boy in my arms and I just keep telling myself that, and I will just have to work out extra hard after he is born!!!

The nursery is still underway, we had to end up sending the crib and dresser back but kept the changing table because the whites did not match. We wanted bright white like the changing table and the crib and dresser was more of an antique white, so we ordered the crib and it should be here next week probably. We have time though.

I am 23 weeks and 3 days today... my next doctors appt. is next Wednesday for a check up. My belly really is big, I keep thinking maybe when they see me this next time my due date will be back to the original January 17th, wouldn't that be wonderful? I guess I am just a big pregnant momma.. and that's fine:)

We have FOR SURE decided on a name.. well a first name anyway.. BRODY!!!!! We are still working on a middle name!

I love that fall weather is here for the most part. Me and Timmy carved pumpkins last night mine is little bitty and Timmy got this HUGE pumpkin.. we also made a fall decorating in out front in our yard that looks really pretty.

So here are More pictures of Baby Roland's Nursery in progress. The stripes were alot harder than we thought and they ended up turning out pretty good for free handing. We didn't have a level and our yardstick was warped, so I think it looks pretty good!!! My mom helped, Timmy, My dad, I did some, and my little brother well you can see by the picture what he did. It is almost finished!! We just need to get the furniture put together!!

Nursery in Progress

We started on the nursery yesterday, we got the bedding in and went and got paint yesterday. Since we started with turquoise walls Timmy had to prime it and then paint it. My mom came over today and helped me paint off stripes and she will be over tonight to paint them. I think it will look really good. All of the bedding ended up being really cute! I am so excitied!
